zombie2279: To be honest, the lacking purple effect takes too much space. I suggest removing it completely and adding it around the hand as seen on the Immolation icon for example.

the hand in the WIP i have to say is not all that well shaded. also, the..ah...fire is very poorly done. shading wise. it needs more definition as to what it is

Yeah I know, I sorta rushed it all, I'll try to update the icon soon enough

I would say fix up the hand and the palm, then add on the purple flames but don't over do it as you have it now. You could change the opacity of the flames so you can see the flames and the hand.

Agree with Panda about the opacity thing, but also it might be handy for you to look at reference pictures. That way you will know how to draw it. The hand now looks liek it's out of its socket lol. Not a good thing when you're channeling magic incase you blow yourself up xD
