I understand what you're saying. But for goblin icons, I think an style more representative and cartoonist combines best.
Anyway, the icon is not very good when resized. Don't know reason.

I suggest you lower the hand a bit, since its the selling point of the icon, the arm isn't require to be this much visible. Otherwise its good.
