Very good job! Excellent!

I especially love the level of detail on the so called "WIP" (which is finished in my opinion).
These details are never seen on button, but on the original pic all those runes and scratches are just awesome!

Aye, the wip looks better than the icon. Just as in most cases.
Try to enlargen the axe on the icon. It's not bad if a small part of the handle may be missed then, just to keep track of the details.
The wooden part of the handle should be rough and a bit bumpy, avoid this too straight appearance.
