Resources made by others are allowed...That's why there's a box to put the name of the real maker in when uploading.

Here is a quote from resource submitting rules:

"Any resource submitted must be created by the submitting user, or with clear, valid permission from the creator."

I don't see a "clear, valid" permission of Blizzard that this resource can be sumbitted here.

Show it and it's all fine.

Otherwise, this won't last more than two days here.

Same goes for the rest of the wow icons sumbitted here. Duh...

You should go and read the Hiveworkshop resource sumission rules.

It's like that:
-You sumit resources made by you only.
-You can submit resources made by others as long as you show a written permission by them that you can upload the resource.

spasorc, Blizzard Icons need no permission... I've seen many other people upload WoW icons and they were approved. Other icons require permission though, icons made by users. War3 and WoW icons were made by Blizzard. And if you can use War3 icons, why not WoW ones?

I won't. I don't care actually, I'm just uploading them to save all the time people will lose making them, like, adding the borders, making it BTN DISBTN. I made them, I lost my time, cuz I needed them, and now people won't have to lose their time making them. There are many WoW icons here, why not add more? Also I wonder how this was accepted:

Did you also wonder to check when were they uploaded? Did you wonder if the site rules have changed since 2005?

EDIT: Also, putting a border and downloading an image isn't as hard as you describe it. Takes approximately 20 seconds.

EDIT 2: Also, instead of saving people's time, you actually waste the time of the moderators removing the "yet another" wow icon sumbitted by a user who doesn't care to read the rules and wants an easy way to submit resources.

I wouldn't say 20 seconds, but whatever. I won't be uploading more.

Also, I win nothing from this. It takes 10 seconds (even less) for the mod to approve/reject the icon. Mods and I lose 20 seconds, we save 20 seconds from each user. If 100 users want to download this icon, we save 600 seconds. But... ok, lets not bother the mods.

Icons derived from blizzard's games may be uploaded without blizzard's permission reason being you are going to use a piece of their product in another of their product.
It makes no sense for you to insinuate otherwise.

Also if it is of anyone to give warnings about icons i belive it should be the moderators, since they will judge if these icons are against the rules or not.

Now leave morbent alone, he is doing a completely selfless act and he shouldn't get lectured for doing so.
