Apheraz Lucent: The artwork is great, but it doesn't work in 64x64 size, as it's absolutely not visible what the icon is supposed to represent.

Pretty cool. The last two submitted icons. That's the kind of style you should stick with. But I'm guessing you put extra work into these two. Good job.

Rofl those two are very easy to tell what they are. Especially the second one. Not all blizzard icons in wc3 are that great. But its quite easy to tell what most of them are.

I haven't even noticed there are actually dudes in the blue one until just now. I thought it was just a cloud or something D:

And yeah, it is quite hard to make out what it is. The big one is really interesting though.

Judging from the small picture, at first I thought it was some kind of frozen insect The big picture is really nice and well done, but I think those kind of pictures, where a lot of things happening in, or have too much detailed parts, or like in this case has many important "objects" to look at, ..so they are especially hard to make into a distinct-themed icon and I can't decide if its monochromatism is a pro or is a con.

But +rep for the big picture, as soon as I can give again

Yes the quality ruins the icon sadly, overall it is fantastic!

As for icons, you have to zoom much more, to make stuff look more coherent. 64x64 is too small to zoom out that much.

Really awesome icon you have here JollyD.

The artwork itself is wonderful but the detail is lost in the icon. There's no way you can change that other than upping the contrast and risk losing the quality of the artwork in the icon.
As a number have said, you should move past icons. This particular piece doesn't work well as a 64x64 but is gorgeous in its original size. All in all, good art, bad icon.
