Good! The flame should be a bit yellowish-white I'd say. To the background you could add bits of red here and there. It's a good icon btw.

A great example. The improvement is good so far.

Looking good, but you can add more details like what Heinvers and Razosh said.

Those details was made by an profesional designer in a digital tablet of 2000€. Also, your example its more greater than a 64x64 pixels, so some details were eliminated when the image was reduced.

I go to try it, but don't promise great results.

I was not saying make an exact copy of this icon I just said use it as inspiration.

Try to add variations as Razosh said. Follow the example he showed to you. I know some details will be lost but you must try.

The brightness is appropriate to me but I've seen so many fiery icons similar to this one. You should put something special in it but can't really say what.

Yeah I saw that. Didn't look at it before releasing my comment.

Okay. And yeah it could add a little variation in that fire bolt as Razosh implied.

Few examples:

Remake of flamebolt. This is the 2nd version.

v2.0: Rework of all model, more shadows, more highlights, more fire, more details, more realistic.

V2.1: Added volleys around the fireball.
