Sin'dorei300: The first version was way better(though still not good), the actual one looks worse.
The shading is very important in the icon processing.
I can't teach u to make proper shading, u can improve by reading tutorials, observing and especially, practicing very much.
This icon(and all of yours)lacks shading, and pls remove the annoying white dots.
Also, the background still needs work.

Sin'dorei300: Nice update, but it still needs some small improvement. Awaiting an update.

Necro-bumpage!

You know it's quite rare to see my old posts and think: what the hell was I smoking back then? xd

Yeah, now the icon looks a whole load better,
it just needs further definition on the right side (viewers perspective).
Maybe a stronger subtle rim light could help attain that effect.

You really improved a lot since last year man, keep it up :)

Thanks man :D

One thing I would like to note it that avoid making a habit of using strong light outline on every edges, it would make the subject look plastic/glossy, which is not very suitable when rendering materials with low reflective index, which in this case, the rough skin surface of the elephant.

Now does this mean using light outline is bad? Absolutely not. It can be used to indicate multiple light sources from different directions. Or if you want to use it. Make a smooth transition (but still retaining contrast) between the light and dark colours.
