Snooping as usual, I see!

Heh, here's a freehanded Dr. Robotnik (AoStH version) icon I've made due to boredom.
I'll probably make a model of him later on.

GIVE ME CREDITS IF YOU USE MY ICON IN YOUR MAP!!!

Here's the link to the original image for those who are sceptic.

EDIT:
To those who are concerned about the white background on the scorescreen icon:

I use a different technique that gives a simple and primitive transparency effect. In some previewers, it usually causes a background glitch (such as white background).
When this scorescreen icon is used ingame, the white background is actually transparent.

well here is what I know
he was originally supposed to be called Eggman.
then when adventures of sonic the hedgehog appeared, he was named Dr. Ivo Robotnik when the German sub was made.
show became popular and all kids called him Robotnik.
new show appeared with the name eggman and there you have it, conflict.

(that is what I heard, not sure that info is true)

Wikipedia said:
The original English instruction manual for his 1991 debut game Sonic the Hedgehog described the character's full name as "Doctor Ivo Robotnik" while the Japanese version's instruction manual for the same game called him "Doctor Eggman".
Then in 1999's Sonic Adventure, the character was called both "Doctor Robotnik" and "Doctor Eggman" in the English version. Yuji Naka has explained that "Robotnik" is the character's real name while "Eggman" is a "common name taken after his shape." Despite this, the Japanese Sonic Channel profile listed his full name as unknown.

This is what I could find in Wikipedia about the name change.

And I still call that character Robotnik, even on newer Sonic games.
