Reminds me of the Adams family, otherwise you did some nice work with shading the hand. The two things I despise are the differences between the gaps among the fingers and that the floor could use a slight level of color differentiation.

I really like it, but do you know what would be better? Add some blood trails on each of the fingers, like this "body" has been pulled to those eyes.

Umm i'm not quite sure what i'm looking at right now ?
Is there a hand from a body that has been drawn in to the darkness and had it's whole body eaten up or something ?
If that is the thing i would not just fade the arm that much in the darkness, just some at the time till it's not vissible anymore.
Now it looks it's cutted off by a butcher and he just droped it there and drawed some sneaky eyes in the background .
Hmm... kind of good work.

Ok after downloading, testing and looking to it - lets rate it:

The main point is for me: I know this icon must have a dark touch, but somehow it's to dark, even ingame. For example look at the DIS icons, the eyes are nearly gone, also the passive item is with eyes can be better.

How I think you can improve it:
You can color the eyes a little bit in green. Also you can add at the side of the eyes something green like in this icon:

But at you icon make the dreen some darker. After that I think it's a perfect "CrippleFear" Icon.

Ok lets get in points:
+ You got both, normal and passive, icons
+ Works ingame
+ You look at it and know what is it about
+ The hand look very good with the blood effect

- As I said, it gets to dark at the end. so this maybe need an improve.

All in all my rating would now 4,5/5 - If this isn't to dark at the end, I will give 5/5 - because then it's perfect for me.

Oh okay .
You'll have to "fade" the hand.
Making it darker N darker till it's gone if you get what i mean.
