Paladon: Please add some variation to the background and try to avoid the appearance of the original picture.
Use a black background and accent the flames around the cloak.

yes i admit that its from warlords battlecry III, but i redrew it and its freehand! but if thats not acceptable, never mind.. just reject this beautiful icon.. :sad:

Well i looked at the original icon you based this off of, and i see you did no trace it, I really like the fire gradient in the background, its very good for your first few icons, much better than i could do.

Well, i cant say it's not nice. But I think you should work more on it. Keep up your motivation and I'm sure something good will come out.

Some three-dimensionality concerning the nose would be good too (->shadings).
You could additionally change the skull´s colour, brown doesn´t really match.

Well... on this icon I see a skull, fire in background and something red... is that red a cloak? Better idea? Hmm... you could try using Blizzard's way... like this:

I don't want to submit it, I want you to make it, not exactly as I've done, but dare to go all the way to black and nearly white, contrast is needed within icon proportions to make changes noticable, go for it

You are not a bad artist.

You should try adding some real bright spots aswell.

In the upper left corner on the cloak itself, on the skulle and below the skull were the red color is clear atm.
