Oh, wow, I had to look at it for several minutes to actually see someone got his throat cut. :V
I like the idea, but the execution is not the wisest. An icon has to transmit its purpose in the blink of an eye (exaggerating, but still, it should do that in a very short amount of time).
I fear this is too fancy to fulfil its purpose.
