Bruiser by Rizz_Boomer

Hell.. its about time
until 3 depressing newanimations i finally
finished the Bruiser.
Its supposed to be Tier 1 Melee for the Goblins.
Hope you like it, and yes i hate again the walk animation.

EDIT:
Well i remade the face and the whole animationset.
Portrait still to come.

EDIT2:
Added Portrait and put Attachmentpoints... shame on me for forgetting those

I also don't like that the movement freezes for a short moment in the attack animation. I even think that the animations seem a bit rough right now.

Changes are made and the model is approvable now. So I approve. But I think you should really add a portrait.

DonDustin: The animations are much better now and I also like the new face but you should really consider to animate the legs for all of the animations aswell. It would give them a much more natural and realistic look

Alright... The eyes look weird - eye-pupils and goblin faces don't look well together, especially with red pupils which looks like gems(apparently Sorceress' pupils),the mouth just doesn't looks right - if you intended him to look 'evil', that effect didn't work that well in my opinion. He looks very 'nice' with those eyes and mouth. However removing the pupils will make him look much meaner. The Bandit chestpiece doesn't looks quite right on a goblin - in addition to that it also goes through his legs in most animations. The Gutz material should be 'Transparent', not 'Blend'. Most animations look very stiff\robotic, most notable are the Death animation and Stand Work animation. I would recommend changing the random hammering in Stand Work to actual screwing. It's a spanner after all, not a hammer. However, I really like the Spanner design, especially those 'teeth' in the front of it(whether it was intentional or not, they look great). His face is original and is infinitely better than using the Tinker or Goblin Sapper heads. The model also lacks a real portrait, as many of your models do - a real downside. The animations you use are pretty stiff and I would recommend using modified Mountain Giant animations instead. Some parts of the wrap look really bad, such as the hands and some parts of the spanner(the blurry parts) as well as some parts of the chestpiece. Overall it's pretty much a fine model.

Wut.

This gave me an idea. Not that i could create it myself but yeah..

The walk animation looked a little robotic. Which gave me an awesome idea. What about a monster tinker robot? With that weapon from this guy and using Rexxar's animations? Or maybe some cyborg goblin? :D

And having like.. i can't remember the name but there was a "deathbot" thingy that looked like a terminator.
That would look so epic if you could like.. get a robotic hand on one side or something, still just an idea.

As for this animation, just figure out a way for the dude to either stop with each foot or to try and remove the first stop. When it only stops on one foot all the time, it gives as i said, a robotic feel to it.

As for the eyes who look a little weird, why don't ya just give him the gyrocopter dwarf's googles and by doing so, you've then successfully made the dude more sci-fi and eliminated a problem. XD

ok lets get through this part by part:
Pupils:
I'll keep this style, stop arguing about it.
Bandit Chestpiece:
In my Goblin-map the Goblins wont start with Hyper Technology from the beginning.
I thought Bandits would make a good base for melee units, wich are brutish and greedy
at the same time.
Stiff animations:
It was the best i could do after reanimating the whole set a third time.
Just wanted to finish it already.
Stand Work:
So please tell me how it should be made?
Take a giant Wrench and try to repair something with unknown size.
I have no idea how i should make it, so this is the best you get, if you dont want
me to remove it.

@Rizz_Boomer - Oh, come man... You know I didn't try to offend you. You don't have to be so defensive. :(

Pupils:
Fine, I'm just pointing that out.
Bandit Chespiece:
Makes sense. Again just pointing it out that it looks a little strange.
Stiff Animations:
Oh... Well, yeah, in that case, they're good.
Stand Work:
Well, he could use the wrench to do what you do with a wrench and that's to screw a screw AND to hammer stuff. That would be better.

Sorry if I sounded offensive at first, I was by no mean trying to be offensive or so. In fact, I just tried to help you make the model better.

Well thats the point with that bigass Wrench.
For each animation i stand up literally and do, what i
want to animate... Problem: Imagine a bigass Wrench repairing something like a
shredder and a Building at the same time.
I thought about jumping and pulling the Wrench with my weight down... doesnt make sense on something like the clockworkers

Then i thought: "Hey running in Circles, with the Wrench in Centre."
He would run through the walls of buildings

He's a pretty good model, Head looks kinda funny, and the smile is scary xD, so I'm not making it seem all bad, it does look really good with the weapon and body. So im giving it a 4/5. Could still use some work also. Continue to come out with more skins, I'd love to see them!

Woot!!! Give us more goblins please ....

Make a chainsaw-goblin; a beastmaster; a toxic-trooper :)
The model is awesome!

I think there already is a chainsaw goblin. He had a chainsaw attached to a tinker arm. I can send it to ya if ya want, don't know who created it though, so adding the creator to the credits will be hard.
