the bridge is lovly and small size.

how does the pathing work, cause when I change the bridge model to this, my people fly through the bridge (could have guessed this would happen, but I don't know how to solve)

Try adding pathing blockers under the bridge.

It has nothing to do with pathing, you need to make the bridge a destructible and set Walkable to True and the Pathing to none.

You dont need to make this a bridge, just use the invisible elevator and set it to the height of wherever you want them to walk
