BloodElvenMagister

"Blessed be Betrayer and his gift."

Magisters are talented elven sorcerers, having a huge influence in Sin'dorei society. They were the first ones who accept the gift of Illidan, and then spread this knowledge among blood elves. Unlike their High elven brethren, Magisters specialize in destructive fire magic and the manipulation of fel energy that charges their kind.

This one is an analogue of sorceress, but you can use it as you wish. Enjoy!

HappyTauren: Clean and polished, but I am not particularly fan of the waist/torso area, it seems like the rest of the model is much more detailed than it. It is definitely in approvable state, but you might want to do something about that area, and I know you can't do too much about filesize if you want to retain the hair details.

All three of the your recently posted models suffer from heavy clipping. The animations, textures are not the best either and the filesize is too big for this low quality.

There are so many good blood/high elf models and considering the fact that you can turn some of the night elf models into blood/high elves through simple texture swaps further increases this number. I can't see these being useful unless they are substantially improved.

I am not sure what exactly you're smoking but those models hardly clip at all (I don't use the viewer to look at them though, I have to test them in game, and a lot of blizzard's original models clip worse than this).

Also there being many good models of a certain kind doesn't mean those aren't different and useful enough to be approved. You're obviously a mapmaker and not a resource creator but we could argue that your altered melee map is useless because there are other altered melee maps around (and many would be better than it, no?), but that's stupid, because it's sufficiently different from some others, and took a lot of effort to make it that way. If you want your work to be respected, respect other people's work.

If you want to criticize my work by all means post a comment; you might as well lead to improving it.

The clipping is quite obvious. Maybe it is unnoticeable if you just tested in game with 0.5 model scaling while fully zoomed out and drunk. Almost every animation has clipping of his "butt-cloak-bit" with his half-skirt sort of thingy he has around his legs. I advice you either to looks closely through the viewer or increase the model size of your testing-unit if testing in-game (sobering up may help as well).

Clipping
Stand 1: His face-mask clips through his hair.
Stand Second: His face-mask clips through his hair, the forward part of his "butt-cloak-bit" clips through his skirt and even into his leg.
Stand Victory: His "butt-cloak-bit" clips very slightly through his skirt when looking at him from the front and heavily when looking at him from the back. his pony tail clips through his hair.
Attack 1: His "butt-cloak-bit" clips through his skirt and even through his pants when looking at him from the front, his staff very slightly clips through his "butt-cloak-bit" when he completes the swing, his pony tail clips through his hair.
Spell: His weapon arm slightly clips through his pauldron, His masks clips through his hair.
Walk: His "butt-cloak-bit" clips slightly through his skirt when looking at him from the back, his mask clips through his hair.
Death: His masks clips through his hair, his "butt-cloak-bit" heavily clips through his skirt and even through his pants when looking at him from the front.

Animations
His hair is not animated at all.
His skirt is not animated either, it is glued onto his legs.
His "butt-skirt-bit" is animated in such a way that it is basically attached to his chest. That's probably the cause for the majority of the clippings.

Textures
The textures on his arms look quite stretched and out poor in general especially so when looking at him from behind.
The green of the staff's gem doesn't seem fitting. It is not bright enough to completely match the eyes and gives off a vibe of something rotting as opposed to blood elf sorcery.

I appreciate quality models and like to leave feedback that the model-maker can choose or refrain from choosing to act upon. Your failure to notice that which is obvious and your attempts to drag my work into this, which is wholly unrelated, leads me to believe that your comment was made more so to spite me as opposed to objectively judging the quality of the model in question.

My advice to you: start modeling!
The guy clearly wanted to make the models similar to in game ones and most fitting with them. If you take a good look at original models(in game ones) you'll see that they are made pretty poor and have holes everywhere, clipings aswell, but they were made like that because a lot of details aren't visible when you look them in game. This guy only did that, there maybe are clipings but are not visible in game, the camera in magos and in game is not the same.

Another solid one. "Magister" is a great, under-used name, and I like the little bits that give him a unique character/silhouette (topknot, crystal staff, face-mask-plate?)

Perhaps the staff is a *tiny* bit more detailed than it should otherwise be.
