Choose from 58 uniques and custom heroes to fight in an arena, to beat the other team in the most violent sport of all Azeroth.
Manly races have sent their best warrior to win this epic tournament.
This year again this place will be covered with loosers blood!!!

Game modes:
-ht : Half Time Mode (10 Minutes Duration)
-nt : Normal Time Mode (20 Minutes Duration) (Default)
-dt : Double Time Mode (40 Minutes Duration)
-ru : Rune Mode (Runes Spawn)
-ea : Easy Mode (Special Effects on the ball Bringer)
-br : Battle Royale Disable respawn for heroes during a round

I wanted to realised a map about that epic sport with custom slinding and move spells.

Needs Warcraft III version 1.32 or newer.
Features



Each team is composed of 5 members Maximum. I advise to put in one team:
- 2 Strikers
- 1 Mid
- 2 Defenders
Normally you need to have 1 Defender for each ennemies Striker.

A team get some points when it realize a touch down in the enemy's goal area behind the two flags. A touchdown in the small area gives to the
team 2 points and in the big area only 1 points.

Differents profiles :
- Strikers :
These players are faster than others they have to marks points. Their spells gives them incredible speed and easy way to realize touchdown. (Any hero can teleport into the opponent goal area)

- Mid :
These players have spells to control ennemy's defense and attack. Thes one can throw a pass at a location further than
others. Their spells are very annoying. Don't be afraid if players want to kill you!!!

- Defenders :
These players the biggest and the strongest. Their brutality and resistance is increased with their spells to block ennemies attacks.

General and Individual Statistics are displayed at the end of the game!!! That shows:
- Number of Kills - Number of Points
- Number of Death - Number of Touch-down
- Medium points/touchdown - Number of Passses
- Number of Ennemies Ball captation - Number of Successful Passes
- Number of Kick off Catched - Number of Assists
- Number of Runes used - Number of Ball Bringer Killed

If the rune mode is activated it spawn a random rune in one of the 4 random location in a map. Spawning duration is 30 seconds after a rune was pick up.
Types of Rune : (Rune of Invisibility, Rune of Armor, Rune of Life, Rune of Haste, Rune of Illusions)

Each player have 2 special spells. When a player pick up the ball it gets 2 others (Touchdown and Drop)

Points Events :
- Dominating : If a team has 3 - 4 points more than the other team.
- Unstoppalbe : If a team has 5 - 9 points more than the other team.
- Ownage : If a team has 10 - 19 points more than the other team.
- Godlike : If a team has 20 points or more than the other team.

- Humiliation : If a team realizes a Touch-down 15 seconds after a Kick-Off. (+1 Bonus Point)
- Holy Shit : If a team score 5 cumumatives Touch-down without any opponent Touch-down. (+2 Point for the team -2 Point for the opponents)



Addon



V2.1 :
Allow Warcraft 3 reforged to run the map.

Time :
The beginnig time is now 30 seconds.

Terrain :
I replaced trees by barrens tree, and add a few doodads, The map is now a little bit bigger.

New Heroes :
9 new heroes are created to increased the game play and combos between players.
- Strikers :
Chaos Knight, Satyr, Sand King

- Mid :
Paladin, Shade, Disruptor, Troll Warlord, Death Prophet

- Defenders :
Zombie, Warlock, Explosive Squad

Modes :
The mode Easy is realised to show effect in the ball owner player.
The mode Runes is realised to spawn bonuses in the area and increased players attributes.
The mode Battle Royale disables revive for players during a round

Statistic Tab :
A final tab is created to show Team Statistics and individual one. A lot of differents parameters are shown.

Game Play :
A tool is added to know the types of players in the opponent team.
A random type hero option is added.
The map is a little bit longer and some doodads were added.

Bugs :
The bug about touchdown is fixed

I spend a lot of time and imagination to creates that map, I hope you will enjoy it.
This map is made with some funny spells and beautiful effects, all theses elements made an intense athmosphere.

- Fix the bug by having a look at the triggers
- Fix the spelling mistakes
- Reduce the time taken to start the game, maybe 20 seconds
- Each Hero MUST have different HP and Mana, not only different movement speed
- One more ability for each Hero
- Consider adding powerups which give an extra ability


OVERALL RESULT:-
To conclude, I believe this map has the potentiality of becoming a marvellous original maps, it only needs more work! I give this 3/5 and vote for APPROVAL!

Some answer about the map :

I made this map to develop a gameplay based on a team sport strategy, attack and defend organization, counter attacks.
This is not a classic arena where you only have to kill enemies with attacks and spells. I want players to choose an action (damages enemies, passe the ball, touchdown)
I want players to make a touchdown and not a complete elimination of the opposing team and then touchdown.

Size of the Map:
I chose that size to add speed like in realistic game: Basketball, Handball with counterattacks
I don't want to bore players with long distance to walk (only strikers have teleportation). The rounds (I think) have to be linked up faster.
The maximum number of players is 10 but there are 6 maximum players that will really play this game (Not as famous as Dota) so I think the map have the good size of 6 units!!!

Spells :
Every hero has 2 personal spells with a small cooldown this is made to increase reactivity for each player. 2 spells (I think) is necessary to develop a team play.
And a hero is easier to control.
Every player is vulnerable and need other one to protect them. I want people play too with their location as a team too block enemy, running to have a pass.
Too many spells with damages will gives to players too much kill power. I'm open to player’s suggestions. I "think" too many spells will creates too Imba players..
I think 2 spells with 7 seconds medium cooldown is enough.

Exp :
Heroes don't get experience
I don't want to create carry likes (MONSTER FEED VOID or BOUNTY in Dota!!!) just play alone at end game and win killing everybody. Heroes are the same from the beginning to the
end of the game. This is necessary I think to show real player power. Each player has a role in the game.

Hp and Mana :
Heroes have similar Hp and mana this is done to develop a team play and not an individual game play.
Hp has been updated
200 Hp for Strikers
250 Hp for Mid
300 Hp for Defenders
Mana is just used to create a separated silence systems Heroes spells need mana and drop, touchdown don't need some mana.

Terraining :
I always have problems with terraining, I made an arena clear for players. The game is really fast so nothing has to blocks players or distract them.
A soft area permit players to appreciate effect and each spells.
I removed terrain deformation because it cuts some effects (Desecrate, Hell Hole, )
I haven't put a lot of doodads in the arena for realistic reasons, in a football field we can't imagine flowers, trees, stones, cracks, creepers animals, ...
I know that a map have to be between realism and imaginary so maybe some doodads are important.

Modes :
I want to make a Kick off mode that gives the ball to the last round looser.

Begining Time :
I made a 1 minute timer to let the player read some information’s about the map and different types of heroes. But I think 30 seconds would be fine.

I didn't write that post to counter what says moderators, not because I think my map is the best of the world.
I just wanted to explain the reasons of some things I made in my map. I haven't tested the game because I'm alone to create it.
So I'm totally open to other comment, proposition or critics: terraining, size, balancing heroes. If it really blocks the game.

I'm sorry for my bad English I'm actually French and not a good English speaker. I'm correcting grammar English mistakes I made in the map.

I want to thanks people who spend time by testing my map.

The size of the map is anyway too small! If I use any teleport ability, I can very easily pass enemy defenders and get to the enemy's side. When I talk about a bigger map, I don't mean making an extra huge field.

Two abilities for each hero aren't enough because a played gets tired of using the same two abilities every time. 3 is the perfect number! Not too much and not too few. That's why I recommend you to let every hero have 3 abilities.

When I say "Make the terrain more hilly", I don't mean creating lofty hills and very deep craters! Just some small raising and lowerings. And with more doodads, I don't mean doodads which block the heroes from moving but doodads which are walkable on like shurbs, bones...
Also, you might consider replacing the "Fall Tree Wall" with "Barrens Tree Wall" and adding "Barrens Canopy Tree".

I know it's important to read the info about the game, but it's very short and once a player understood how the game works, he doesn't want to wait a lot of time for the game to start.

Again heroes have similar HP and Mana. This doesn't make every Hero really unique! Some defenders might have high HP but low movement speed and armor. Some strikers might have high movement speed and Mana but low HP and so on. That's balancing and making heroes unique!

Oh and take care NOT to let ANY ability have the hotkeys:- M - A - P - S. Because "M" is the hotkey of Move, "A" of Attack, "P" for Patrol and "S" for Stop. I found an ability that has the hotkey "S" so I am sure there will be other abilities with these 4 hotkeys.

I like how in your reviews, some of your bad points are actually suggestions. (E.g. "only two skills?", Hey, two skills might be the creator's style.)

I suggest not making the terrain too flat. Make it have curves, or bumps, or hills. And make the terrain have variation. You only chose a few tiles and made it clear with the map. But, it looks nice. The only complaint I have is the terrain.

I post a number of questions because I make that map alone and I've never test it with other players

Does heroes are balanced?

Is it too easy/too hard to realize a touchdown or not?

Does striker have enought Hp or too much?

Is there enough damages spells and are they well distributed?

Does spells are good?

Can you send me Feed-back and suggestions

I want to make a mode for kick off: to gives the ball to loosers of the last round

fang__00 : I've never creates an AI script so I don't know how to make it for that kind of map. But if somebody have ideas or tutos. I'm interessed.
