Blade of the Frost Warrior

It is a Blade of the Frost Warrior. It was used to kill or fossilized an enemy. With its Icy metal, it can leave an enemy frozen. Btw I'm new to arts and I am currently learning. Hope you like it :)

Separate a background from the sword's edge please :) Apart from that - really eye candy style.
Icon Review

Logistic Scale

Blizzard feel

Grade: 6/10 D
Definition: The Ability of an Icon to be indistinguishable from the other icons in Warcraft III.
Note: The Icon doesn't stick out too much and fits decently, but a good way to make this better is to add some black outlines.
Usability

Grade: 8/10 B
Definition: The Ability of an Icon to be serve a purpose of high demand and low supply, or multiple low demand instances.
Note: The Icon features a few of the borders along with the subject being a sword opening an avenue to a large amount of potential implementations.
Grade: 7/10 C
Note: Use some of blizzards icons as a reference to your target for a better fit unless you are trying to keep your own take on the style and feel of things, also include all of the borders. We have the button manager tool which makes this process super easy.
Artistic Scale

Perspective

Grade: 7/10 C
Definition: The scale of how well the Artist has utilized perspective to add depth and definition.
Note: Classic 2D flat display. good for showing details, but not very creative or unique.
Aesthetic

Grade: 7/10 C
Definition: The scale of how well the Artist has utilized colors, shadings, outlines, and other tools to best present the subject.
Note: Wonderful job with the colors and shading, they match very well, but you have not utilized outlines to better define the subject, also the shading can be a little stronger for a metallic effect.
Artistic Scale

Grade: 7/10 C
Note: Looks decent. Nice work
Nice work! Hope to see more of your work soon.

Edit: Background is cool and unique, but I'm not sure if its superior to the classic way of blizzard so I committed mentioning it.

Is it me or is everything in the icon very sharp?
It looks to me that every part is separated, blade, guard, handle, background.
Looks good, don't get me wrong, but it looks... well, a bit wrong. Reminds me of a bad CGI... Like a 3D model...
