Azure Tower Defense Ultimate v.21.1

Created Blizzard Entertainment, Improvements by Ironside

This map is an Improvement to the original Azure Tower Defense created by Blizzard.
Map History


I first started to work on this improvement, when I found several bugs in the

original map (the very first bug was, that when any player left, creeps

didn't stop to spawn on that line). So soon after that I made the first

version of this map: Azure Tower Defense Improved v.0.1.
When I hosted it several times in a row, I've seen that people were very

happy to see this map with it's improvements.
So I decided that I shall further work on A.T.D.I and soon added many more

things into the map that made the public very happy.

I will write down some main changes from the original map:

- Added 3 modes (-easy , -normal , -hard) later added -uber for the very professional

players of ATD. I added the modes because I saw that many players could not

defeat the normal ATD. I also added the modes so that professional players could

player harder ATD if it was too easy.

- Added several Legendary heroes, every player can only pick 1 of them. These

heroes are far stronger than the normal 3 and are mostly used to make the

game more fun and more easy to play.

- Much more!

Modes & Their Function


[-easy] sets the game mode to easy. Gold income per creep kill is now 3.

Creeps HP is 100%

[-normal] sets the game mode to normal. Gold income per creep kill is now 2.

Creeps HP is 125%

[-hard] sets the game mode to hard. Gold income per creep kill is now 1.

Creeps HP is 165%

[-uber] sets the game mode to uber. Gold income per creep kill is now 0.

Creeps HP is 225%

Azure Tower Defense Ultimate

Foreword: This is a new version, in which I switched from the normal Improvements to a new level. Now the forces of Mnesthes can be controled by a player (this is even recommended!)


Map Protection
The map is not protected, however I do not want anyone to edit it. If you do, it must not have a name like this map.

Creator should be "Blizzard Entertainment, Improvements by Barathrum" instead of just "Barathrum" (Since the original map was by Blizzard). Not testing because I'm not too interested in Downloading maps for now except to Vote For Rejection.

But I'll still look into it...

EDIT: Didn't find any reason why it didn't work for you, works perfectly for me... same for my brother... Made a quick new version, maybe it will fix it for you, but that's a maybe only...

Aye. 5.3 works beautifully with 1.24d. So, now, voting for APPROVED. Well, you could ease the mind of players by changing the default difficulty level to "Easy". Also, creeps from left lane leaked to upper and lower lane.

-Reduced the amount of defense the enemy looses with Vampire aura from -100 to -20.
-Made Mnesthes stronger (details bellow)

-Changed HP from 2.500.000 to 5.000.000
-Changed HP regeneration rate from 1000 to 1500.

EDIT4: New Version [v.6.8]
-Changed the bug with Skeleton King, they spawned in a number, like the normal Skeleton, now they spawn equal to the Mode (easy = 1 ; normal = 2; hard = 3; uber = 4)
-Also made Skeleton King stronger:

-Changed HP from 400.000 to 600.000
-Changed HP regeneration from 100 to 200

For me it's ok to improve Blizzard maps if the map idea stays the same.

If you go so on you 'll soon reach the 100 version ;)

Good news: The Stable map might come out today; I will do one last test with my team, and I'll see then, if no bugs then the stable map will be released.

EDIT: Found some things to fix, still might upload the stable version today.

EDIT2: The stable map is out! I'm now open for bug reports, an update will not be uploaded just every day now, it will only be uploaded every several days or maybe weeks or if any critical bugs are found.

EDIT3: 2nd Stable map might be out this week.

EDIT4: The 2nd Stable map is out.

EDIT5: Many new versions were not uploaded here. Now I'm at v.9.6.

Too many ideas :/ Just can't stop. When I make a version I upload here and say "Enough!" but after get a new idea and have to make it :S

EDIT: new version [v.9.8] Fixed the bug that the new two Bosses spawned a Hexor instead. Also added a new command:

-dis 1
-dis 2
-dis 3
-dis 4

This command runs on the specified line only. The chosen line becomes so, as if both players of that line left the game.

EDIT2: new version [v.9.9] Yarr found a bug that needed to be fixed : the New Bosses weren't set how much they must corrupt the tree...

Since the next version will be the 100th, I will make it EPIC!

Plans for v.10.0:


1. A whole new event for the game (Also will be a new round at the same time).
2. This event will be called Robot Army.
3. All players will have to survive a mass attack of the Robots, that spawn from a giant Factory.
4. Many different, strong enemies will make this Event hard and fun at the same time. :thumbs_up:

Ofc. it doesn't work with 1.21. THe map of the Hive workshop must work with 1.24 not with anything less than that...

EDIT: Ugh It looks like, I'm finaly out of ideas for the map :O
EDIT2: new version [v.10.1] Made more like for the sake of a bump, it was on 4th page, but I also made a small balance.

I was playing with my friend and all was just fine until the Ghost Ship... We were on the same line but when the Ghost Ship appeared... It appeared on ALL lines... IS THIS INTENDED?

I'm sorry to say this, but this will have to be the last version of Azure Tower Defense Improved

Reason:

The map crushed itself, if I try to save it, I get retarded errors that never happened before. And there seems to be no way to fix them... So this is it... I hope a moderator reviews it soon, and then have fun playing. This map won't be able to be updated anymore, so if any bugs are found, I cannot fix them.

Oh what the hell... 1st this map doesn't work for me, then native UnitAlive doesn't work. 3rd if I can't make anything more on this map, it will go to last pages and it's useless there :( and there isn't anyway to bump maps except via updates...
And 4th I get very damn errors when saving sometimes :O

What's wrong with my editor :S

This is a true tragedy!! Is it possible to use another machine to perform an update to map? It would also help you trouble shoot where the corruption may be coming from.
