Autumn Harvest

I updated the map!...again

+Changed the wolves in bandits (to fit the environment)
+Added drops to the bandits (lvl 1 permanent)
+Changed the drop from the Goblin Lab guards from lvl 2 powerup and lvl 2 permanent to lvl 1 powerup and lvl 2 permanent
+Lowered the second mine's gold from 12500 to 10000
+The third mine guards now drop a lvl 2 charged and a lvl 4 permanent (instead of lvl 2 charged, lvl 4 permanent and lvl 1 powerup)
+Also instead of 2 Troll Priests and 1 Troll Trapper (at the third mine) there are now 2 Trappers and 1 Priest
+Replaced the Fountain of Health with a Fountain of Mana so now there are 2 Fountains of Mana
+replaced the fountain guards with 1 Granite Golem, 2 Rock Golems and 2 Troll Trappers (making sure that air attacks will be almost impossible without defeating these creeps)
+Replaced the Goblin Merchant with a Mercenary Camp

That's it for now, I hope I get a better rating this time :)

+more balanced
+added a fountain of mana and a fountain of health
+moved the mobs away from the bridges
+some estetic changes
+and changed the name

A normal 2v2 melee map.

-2 bonus gold mines for each player
-a tavern in the middle
-4 goblin laboratories
-4 shops

I think some creeps can drop useless items (+7)

Simple, small and nice map.

Make sure the creeps drop fair items on all sides.
I am not fully sure about the fountains, maybe they give air a bit too much of an advantage taking those small paths to the other bases in consideration, but it's okay.
It's quite easy to get a second gold mine early on, but you'll easily deplete your own mine so this might be needed (you could give the creeps at the mines a little boost, but that would leave players with a single green creep camp).

I will rate this map with a 3/5 (approved)

Rui's review for "Autumn Harvest" [Version 7th of August], a melee map by Tusky

A fine layout. While in most maps I've criticized the unnecessarily large size, in "Autumn Forest" the terrain could be a little bigger. I didn't notice the map bounds, but perhaps removing them a little (not entirely!) and some moving could do the trick. The problem I've identified is that the map is a little narrow.I didn't notice use of elevation. Ground texture variation seemed alright. The Tavern's paths were very well terrained.
A few neutral buildings are well chosen and placed, while others not really. For example, the Goblin Laboratory was a very good compensation for the tightness of the map. The Goblin Merchant, however, was a very bad choice. It does not have any use besides farming up permanent items.Probably the worst neutral building choice was the Fountain of Health, protected only by a frail group of Murlocs.The cliffs surrounding the Gold Mines were unnecessary. They only take up space. Regarding those Mines, while one of them (the closest) was easy to claim, the other was heavily protected. However, both had the same amount of gold. Try lowering the amount of gold on the closest Gold Mine significantly so players are forced to search for a more resourceful solution!
Creeps! The first Gold Mine's protectors were alright. Three Kobolds and a Geomancer who dropped a lvl1 permanent. I must ask, however, why the Wolves didn't drop anything. It was a Giant Wolf and two Timbers, they should have dropped a lvl1 permanent or lvl2 powerup. I also noticed a very strange fact: they were standing on crops with villagers nearby. I recommend the removal these crops as well as the creeps. Due to being so close to the «battlefield» point, a lvl2 charged would be a useful item to have at hand.Regarding the Fountains of Health, which I mentioned earlier, a more difficult creep camp should be arranged for this one. Golems, who are magic-immune creeps, are a good option.Goblin Laboratory guards drop a lvl2 permanent and a lvl2 powerup. I believe a lvl2 permanent is enough, or perhaps a lvl3 charged, considering the creeps (Kobold Tunnelers and Forest Troll High Priest) have a few nice abilities.As for the red creep camp, it dropped a lvl4 permanent, a lvl2 charged and lvl1 powerup. It was alright, but I believe either the charged item or the powerup item should be removed, preferably the latter.
That is it. This can become a great melee map! My rating is 3/5 (Acceptable). I cast my vote for Approval!
