"Ashenvale's Strike" is a Altered Melee game similar to the TFT's version 'Monolith', on a same goal where you have to destroy the enemy base with enough force to win except there are no monolith shards.

"A good style of game although I was expecting some newer race to tackle with like draeneis/eredars, centaurs etc. But I guess you'll do some trigger for that, another is that once I'm done destroying all of the enemy there is no finishing trigger that ends the game, how about make the game pause after finishing the main quest."

"No change with the terrain because it was based on the ROC's skirmish map 'Timbermaw Hold'."

"Overall a new batch for the Monolith's game line and useful altered melee."

this is neat altered melee, but somehow it needs a lot of work to do, the creep team is on a power overwhelming stage that playing this alone with no additions of 2 more AIs or players the enemy team is still together it would be nice if you can make a system(trigger) that will only count and match how many players(or AIs) is in the map, there is so much spelling errors that I do not wish to be a grammar nazi right now, all in all you need more time to finish this rather than uploading it quickly you will end up having bad feed backs

you can post your map here in the Map Development some users can help and give suggestions

Okay, so I had a quick glance at the map and I have a few things to say with regards to it.

The map follows the Monolith style of gameplay, only this time implementing more of a melee feel to the new races rather than giving a gimmicky style of gameplay to them. The new races themselves are the Blizzard creeps with no stat changes put into a playable race format with AI designed specifically for them, again staying true to the Monolith format. This is designed for fun co-operative strategy game with friends or the melee AI to battle against some unusual opponents.

Was this idea fully realized? Well, it is and it isn't. It's probably about as far as anybody really needs to go with the franchise itself and would be a carbon copy of the Monolith map itself if not for a higher emphasis on base building by the creep races themselves. Basically, it's a more vanilla style of the Monolith map, leading to a lack of innovation and creativity.

Among the multitude of spelling errors, there are quite a few questionable game mechanics. If we are to look at the Spider race, they have a unit which I love to hate named the 'Tree Spider'. Why do I love to hate it? Well, it is just a renaming of the old Ghoul unit, which could be seen as a problem in itself, but that isn't all. The Spider Acolyte's (named as such in case you couldn't tell that this race was clearly based off of the Undead race by the redundant Blight spread) are capable of gathering lumber and the race itself has a Black Spider to serve as a sort of early game melee unit which is cheap and spammy. So why does the Tree Spider exist? No doubt it's because the Undead race had the Ghoul and very little thought was actually given to this.

In case the game exceeds the 2 minute mark, the Creeps will be revealed to yourself and your allies. This is a problem which exists primarily in maps following the melee game rules and can be forgiven, but does make a co-operative game designed to be played against AI that won't be able to hide from you after you get your economy up and running drastically incomplete.

I personally wouldn't approve this map just yet not because of how unoriginal the idea is, but because the map is currently still in development stages and has a lot of game breaking errors.

As with the Monolith map, this could be a fun, simpler version to play and would most likely entertain lovers of the melee game if they are looking for a co-operative map to play with their friends. However, it is still incomplete, and as such should not be in this section of the site until further changes have been made.

Well I think the map is just fine. I didn't copy Monlith ,I made It myself, The Spider race Is good. The Tree Spider is for defense. They gather lumber, when enemy attacks they jump to defense. That is why I made Tree Spider, also I don't get why you said :has a lot of game breaking errors: There are no errors? And I used the Blizzard creeps because I had no time to make costum units and did you read description ???? >>>Future

lol I don't think you should comment because my map is a dump. I work for 3 weeks for this map and I think it is Good.

Also thanks for your comment. :(

The errors have been outlined and everyone thinks their map is good. Fact is, it's incomplete. Focusing on newer additions probably isn't the best move when there are still things which need to be reworked on here.

As for copying Monolith, have you played it? It's pretty much the exact same premise.

Don't believe I said it was a copy. I did say it would be if it didn't have a few things different about it, but mostly it's Monolith's slower twin brother.

Tree Spider... oh god... THAT thing happened. That thing right there. Abomination would have been a more suitable name. It really serves no purpose to anything.
