Art of Defense Citadel

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Hello,
I have decided to make a part II of my map - Art of Defense Palace.
I hope that you guys will help me to make a sucesful map like Palace was, would love to get feedback, ideas and bug reports, thank you!

What is this about?! :

Defend againts 18levels of enemies, together with your teamnates. You have to build a lot of units and towers to get to the last lvl.
There are 3 lanes, Air comes differently.
Every race got a +, while the fel orc seems to be strongest, they lack variety of mage units and can be very bad on the first levels, and their strongest units cost a lot of the gold.
Anyway, you have to work together to achieve the victory!
Play full house to experience the real game.

New units and hero for Blood elf
New ending levels
Balance changes if any

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

I always liked this kind of survival/melle type maps, and this is one of the most interesting ones, i liked the first one as well(i see the story continues from the first part which is nice).

~~Agent K~~ I like the idea of buying stuff from this misterious agent btw , really cool.(the prices seem fair as well), would be nice if there was some kind of tip in the game that indicates he exists tho, giving the players a reason to go there and see what's up with him.
Problems:
- I think he should be allied with the other players(same for the tents, marines) everything of blue color basically.

Agent K somehow managed to go over there(he was beeing attacked by the marines), i suggest making the agents invulnerable, this ties to the problem of color blue not beeing allied with the rest again.

~~Like the previous citadel map, i suggest implementing more shops with tomes and stronger items or recipes, units in late game are somewhat strong but they are still very weak, the heroes need to carry basically,
so working on your heroes should be more of a thing.(i know a lot of mobs/mini bosses drop tomes, but thats not enough Especially when there are a lot more players each with 3 heroes on their own)

~~Enemies: I like the enemies/waves overall, its a good variety of units.(pretty hard but not impossible)

problems:
- Lesser forgotten one has too much hp, i suggest decreasing it to 6k hp, and why are most of them on a high ground were melle units can't go? seems stupid to me, and air units are super weak so killing them takes too much time.
- There seems to be an elevation problem overall with the map, especially when you go and try to attack the citadel itself, everything is on elevated ground where melle can't reach, making the players go mass air(which is shit) i suggest reducing the elevation and creating ramps so melle can attack as well.
- The Dark portals have too much hp, and they don't seem to be doing anything as well, i suggest giving them 15k hp max and giving them the ability to spawn some demons when they are under attack.

Hi and thank you for your time! I actually never though that someone will go and play this map alone :D so I see that you have played the first version of the map, I have already fixed all of these bugs you mentioned: Art of Defense Citadel - Warcraft 3 Maps - Epic War.com
I am only not able to upload it here, propably bc of my low internet connection :/

I will write a changelog after I am able to upload new version of the map, which I currently cannot. However you can feel free to put it to substandard :D
I was trying to make part 2 of the previous AoD Palace but I see it lacks the atmosphere the Palace had..
