Backround: The increasing amount of volcanoes near Kalimdor attracted a new kind of watery fiend. A new type of Murloc. These new type of murlocs hunt in packs and very rarely like the water. Most of them hated the fiery volcano depths but now love it. These strange creatures adapted to the fire and heat and seemed to crate plating that looks like red lightning across the backs and head.

Not meant in a badgering manner, but it's usually good to not post your first skin.. =P

What I meant by recolour is that you painted a solid colour over the pre-exisiting Blizzard design. What you should do for future skins is blank out at least 75% of the design and then make your own design over it, then fill it in with colour, shadows, highlights, and other details.

The lava texture you made is good, but the rest of the skin needs to be edited more. =P

Yeah the green color is bad. Make something else like orange or something. The blue part isnt good either :p The lava is nice :) But its pretty nice done for your first skin :D

I keep updating it, it just will not update with the screen and skin..

there could be some lag okay? just wait like an hour or 30 minutes and the screen will be updatet :p
The changes:
well i dont really see much changed.. you removed the blue color and lightened all the skin a bit.. its still blurry and messy.. :( .
Shadows and highlights are still needed :) ..
keep workin moar

staberfire and misha teached us all :D
i love you two guys :>
just take thair hints and your skin will be great ^^

Haha, thanks Turtle.

As for the colour, I didn't see the blue/green everybody commented on but I think that this yellow is a step in the right direction from those and the maroon you had earlier. Use this colour yellow but make it a bit more orange, and that should compliment the lava theme nicely.

Also, you need to add shadows where they would look most appropraite on the model when the skin is applied.

For instance, on the main torso part, you should use a dark gray/red low opacity brush (17% or less) and lightly apply a bit of shadow to the underbelly and ribcage area.

Basically, the light source comes from above so you want to make shadows below. Make sense, right?
Some other areas to focus on for shadows would be the shield, the feet, some of the face and the weapon.

I'd hate to see this rejected, so try to work on it as best as you can. I got alot of help from Hawkwing for the first skin I submitted (though it eventually got rejected =P) so I just want to make sure you get the most out of your work. Good luck. =)
