Robot.blp

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
I don't know why I made this. It's a fiend with redone everything (mostly armored). It is mostly freehand, no CnP -- I used blur on the edges but that's it. If you use this you don't have to credit me if you don't want to, I couldn't care less.

Blurry freehand and filters
no shading and highlights whatsoever
no definition
overal bad apearance
+ looks like a gray blob.

EDIT: blurry screenshot where we can't see anything, it would be better on white snow.

I'd call it rejected in my book

Rating: 1.15/5 Unacceptable

Misha this is the 2nd time you have tried to get me on filters. I do NOT use them. Plus you can't determind how it looks until you try it in the game. It is not blurry at all in the game. Now, back to the filters issue. I would like to know where you think I used them. And there are shading and highlights everywhere. If you cant see this, you should really stop commenting on people's skins.

oh, we want bombardment eh? >:3

well if that ain't filters, then it is sure a poorly done freehand without any definition and pretty much unrealistic. is that supposed to look like metal plates? go and take a look how a real metal plate looks. also.. if you were going for metal plates then you totally missfire on the design. there is NO way that metal plates would curve like this. sheetmetal on the other hand would. but not metal plates.

well.. i see you used highlights and shadows, but they are just not enough, take a look at the other skins, especially at some where is metal. you'll see that you still need to add a massive amount of shading and highlights to achieve the metal look you're after.

...i still find it blurry ingame after testing it quite a few times. well... while ingame the blur ain't much obvious, on the unwrap it is painfully obvious. you should add more defintion to it, right now it doesn't look like anything let alone some robot.

well.. so far as i've seen robots, they have a massive amount of details in 'em and on 'em so i think you lack these details..... as i mentioned before, you've totally gone wrong on the design in certain areas with the plates. they shouldn't be so randomly drawn and certainly would need lill gizmos like nuts 'n' bolts. or maybe even rust.

so to shorten it with a list of things :)

~reworking of the metal plates
~adding texture to the metal
~ adding more highlights and shadows than you currently have, and separately on EVERY plate
~ adding details to every bit of your skin do achieve the robot look you're after
~ adding aditional details like little light diodes and aditional things like hoses, intake scoops ect ect...

rework that and i trully won't have a complain

If you cant see this, you should really stop commenting on people's skins.
...and because of THAT i shall continue to critique skins with even greater zeal, thank you very much

Well it doesnt really look like metal :p thats something you have to work on. Also its a pretty nice idea but the red thing on it doesnt really fit on the crypt fiend. Youll have to do something to it. What you have to do i dont know as im not a skinner but you could definantly try a bit of alpha coloring and the changing it a bit to fit the crypt fiend :)

Btw it isnt a model Army-of-Pandas. Only a skin XD

The real question is do you know who he is? He may know a little about what he's talking about but he's like a 35 year old German man with a pube-stache who is obsessed with anime and probably lives with his mom. Now that's a sad existance in any light.
