This map is playable and in a beta state, and so I feel it deserves to be uploaded as more than just a resource. Although, I am no longer developing this map, and I would like to give anyone interested full permission to work on this map, provided I am given credit in the upload.

Arcanum, a world of magic and steampunk; demonology, necromancy, gunpowder, technology, and armor. Designed as a role playing map, this map has features for those who enjoyed the old LOAP type maps, a strategy/city builder lover, dungeon crawlers, and even quest seekers.

I have done my best to create a conversation system where you can have in depth conversations with NPC's mocking old CRPG's such as Arcanum or Baldur's Gate, allowing more immersion for the role players. The map is based around the city of Tarant, a metropolis in an industrial boom, where you may explore the almost perfectly proportionate city and even explore random encounter areas outside of the city, based on random encounters seen in Arcanum. Currently this map features;

-Conversations
-Quests
-Factions
-Geographic completion
-----Underground Sewers, Dwarven Mine, and Elven Forest.
-Houses
-Furniture
-Neutral Units
-AI Players.
-And many things to do to keep you playing, hence the reason I say it is in a state that is worth more than just a resource.

I hope to get feedback, and if anyone would like to attempt to finish this map please inform me, I would love to play it afterwards. I can't wait to see what happens.
