Arcane Hunter

Upgraded version of my really old Arcane Hunter model. It took me really long time to finish this guy, I hope you'll like him :-D.

Looks good and works fine in-game. It's good to see a full-fledged WC3 model with every mechanical aspect working. Gotta say you've improved a lot in animating. I remember your old works, and this one is really superior animation-wise. :) There's...

To be honest, animations could be a little bit better (sorry for not being constructive, I have no knowledge of them myself), but they are already interresting, I really like sword fighting ones, seem quite realistic. It's actually a pretty usable and useful model! I wish he only had a few more animations, more options it would give!

I'm generally not much a fan of Elves; there are just way too many of them here. However, I rather like this gentleman; he really seems to follow the "RoC" aesthetic (somewhat simple, but defined enough for original Warcraft 3). Moreover, you've really given him some interesting attack/spell anims; I love how he (by default) has that 'samurai raised-sword' position, then turns it into a jab or slice. The "power-up" sword for Spell anims is very nice too.

Some of the animations (Portrait, Walk, Death, etc) are a tad robotic, though. And while he's "enough", he could definitely use a touch or two of 'uniqueness'; some nurnies or additions to his mesh/texture to really set him apart as a hero (take a look at the Blademaster; big ball necklace, giant back-flag, samurai sword, japanese wood-block shoes, etc; things that make him stand out & really sell the aesthetic/thematic package).

Looking forward to more!

Gotta say you've improved a lot in animating. I remember your old works, and this one is really superior animation-wise. :) There's still room to polish them further. They're rough, the essence of the movements is there, and it is mostly correct. In next works (or in this one too) you may add more detail and subtleness.
Something small that I'd recommend you to fix is that the portrait background plane is too big, so it looks like plain TC in-game. You could shrink it down so it's a glow, and darker. Also, his black mouth interior looks weird.
Nevertheless, approved.
