Aragorn (WotR)

"I am Aragorn son of Arathorn, and am called Elessar, the Elfstone, Dúnadan, the heir of Isildur Elendil's son of Gondor. Here is the sword that was broken and is forged again! "

This model can be used for rangers, woodsmen, bandits, any forest-dwelling human really.

I made it because having a default ranger model for Aragorn in my map felt a little sparing.

Attention
After I finish a very complex commission model, Aragorn is going to have a revamp added;
Worry not, the original are staying up

Changes
- Added Spell Animation
- Added Channel Animation
- Added Portrait Background
- Skeleton Decays properly (I guess not)
- Aragorn's mesh despawns entirely upon death
- Skeleton decay delayed from original time, no longer slow-fades
- Added hero-glow variant
- Resized portrait background to fix Healthbar height
- Added in-game screenshot

Your models are the best. Very climatic, good quality and not monotonous. You cleverly choose textures, and - most important - you don't use that annoying Villager face f*cking everywhere (I'm sorry, just puking with Villager's face already).
I'm not downloading this model right now, but maybe I will use it as a human ranger one day.

EDIT. Also, his spell animation could be shooting with bow. It would be totally amazing.

I love it.

It's fantastic to see an Aragorn ranger resource that gives Hueter's kingly skin a run for its money.

The attention to detail - lore-wise and in a general, aesthetic sense - is great and I love the feral fighting style.

Love The Stand - 2 animation also. Great choice.

Looks very good!

If you add also a Bow and a quiver with arrows on his back, give him a shoot and a "morph"-Animation (to switch between meele and range), it would be awesome! :D

Nice. Would be awesome if his Slam or other spell animation was the famous body rotation with sword swing he performs while Moria chamber fighting in the movie. That move was also present in the game The Return of the King from 2003.

The only move I can remember is the one where he spins around and thrusts his sword under his arm behind him to poke an orc
It was this
if I remember correctly.
In game it looked more spectacular and powerful.

All your models are awesome, this one too !
But i have an issue in game : the hero HP bar floats way above the unit's head. I tried with different units, fly value etc. but it seems to come from an attachment point.

I figured out why that happens!

It's because the game thinks the portrait background panel is always there, so it renders the healthbar above that

I'm going to fix it in the very next patch -- never fear :)
