This bundle is marked as lacking. It fails to meet the standard requirements and may only have minor use.
"From overhead we heard the buzzing of enemy bombers. "Fire now!" I shouted, and like flies they scattered and fell."

Note - The base of this model was made by none other than killst4r, when I found this model I could find no reference to his name. Credit is to go to him for providing the base model.

Anti Aircraft Gun (Model)

You need to add a Decay animation as well as proper geoset animation to make the model disappear at the end of the decay animation.

This is a good model but it needs some important changes (no joke)

-It needs another stand animation which shows the model do not move (in rest mode)

-Speaking logical, if you don't have a soldier sitting on there, then how the heck does it able to fire the chopper?

-I see you got a machine attached to the AA gun. But when I observe the Attack animation. It shows only a 3-shots Burst which does serve a great purpose if It can't fire continuously. Or make an Attack-Alternative animation that show rapid fire.

Ovarall, Its not a bad model. It just need some modification. 3/5.

I will see if I can get a default standing animation to look good, I will add rapid fire once I figure out how to get the gun sound to loop during the attack animation without hitching.

The reason it is unmanned yet functional is that I need it to work for multiple nations (which will have different looking soldiers) if I were to add all of the soldiers as an alternate stand/attack/death animation for this, it would require the custom textures of all of the soldiers and six times the alternate animations. I considered using a peasant or villager, but they are too medieval looking.

Until I can work out what is going to happen with it, it will remain unmanned much like blizzard's orc watchtower.

How about a special attachment point and a unit made only for this purpose? great model!

As I am as learned in attachments as a hungry snail, I must find myself asking for the names of the attachments I am to add, and vaguely where they are to be.

You may name an attachment however you want and put it where ever you want. Some classic warcraft 3 attachment points are: head, chest, overhead, hand (left and right), weapon and such.

Thank you so much for making this! Gonna use it as a laser turret in World Domination. I'd really want some particle effects for that death animation, though.

Actually, wc3 only supports certain attachment names. You can alternate a lot by adding "second", "rear", "mount", etc after normal attachment names.

I thought custom attachment could be made and used with triggers?

Damn I love your models, I have played war games and learnt lots about them some of my favorite war games are on the PS2. My favorite would be Conflict Desert Storm.
But yeah this is another sexy model by you. Keep up the good work

The grey colors make it look too modern for a WW1 anti aircraft gun. It should be dark green, or black at least :)

The reason for the bold colours is so that way it can be used alongside existing WC3 buildings, like Guard Towers and Farms

Will do, one moment
