A nice and useful doodad model for sci-fi decorations. Works in-game.
I say, keep it as it is. Space concerns are no longer the main concern and for people it is easier to change the path of a model than changing the animation handles via triggers or something.

The models look very cool, but I would recommend you to alter the 'radar' one a little bit. Right now it looks like piece of cheese rotating around.

I for one would not encourage people to throw all the available resources in your map just because you can, changing the animations would work much the same as Town Hall upgrade stances.

Must you not forget that when a map exceeds a certain size it will load slower and slower, not to mention the download speed on b.net which is not the best.

We must not let ourselves get lazy and not try polish our models or lower filesize just because of a new update.
