Ancient Warrior

This is an Ancient Warrior model I made out of the Satyr. Uses In Game Textures, and still uses the original animations.

At some point I may upload a version 2 with animation changes. but as it is now, the model is definitely usable. Works in game.

Maybe Good as a big stompy unit. I would add a glow to it with riggers and use as a hero I think. undecided.

Corrupted Treant will be done after my thursday exam.

You might have a use for it though.

I uploaded it before but it had too many issues, and they are now resolved.

General Frank fixed a bunch of the issues I couldn't figure out by myself.

I uploaded this when in a hurry to catch a train, sorry I forgot to list Frank.

This model is best applied to a unit like an Ancient Protector.

There's a slight problem with the death animation Sylrae. When applied to most units, the resulting skeleton reappears after a short delay. I would have given it a higher rating if you'd fixed that: by all means, update it when you get the time.

The skeleton thing. What's affecting it showing up late? When I get around to (figure out) animation changing, I will replace the death and decay and give it an eat tree animation.I dunno. Just give me the suggestions and once I figure out the animation thing I'll do it. At Present these are the Satyr Animations without any real changes.

If you can smooth out the death animation and update this submission Sylrae, I'll change my mod rating from Useful to Recommended.

If you mean make the bones make more sense, that I did, but if you mean the clipping issues when he hits the ground and the fact that he grabs the back of his neck instead of his face, I haven't figured out how. The tutorial you sent me was aout stuff showing up that shouldnt. I didnt see any bits show up that didnt belong, but it told me how to remove the guts (plants dont have skeletons so seeing a skull doesnt make sense).

I initially tried removing the guts by deleting them but that messed up the animations.


As for clipping issues. When he hits the ground on death his face goes into the ground a bit. and a thing that doesn't make the most sense. In the death anim and in one of the stands he grabs his neck (it should be the front/top of his head, but his head has been moved forward) - I have no idea how to fix it manually. - If someone can point me to a tutorial that would help with this it would be appreciated.


I'll put up a corrupted version as soon as I get the animation issues resolved.
