An Ogre's Mission v1.21a

I've updated this map with an older version, cuz the new one was full of bugs (like you start at level 30). My laptop was stolen with all my files and since I've protected them, I can't update them anymore.

Adventure Map


Play as Huzok or Jo'Gaz as an unstoppable force. While trapped in the kingdom of the Wildaxe Tribe. The two Ogre's must escape from the island, but you'll find out that it won't be easy! With new improved Abilties, units, items, bosses, features, interface and much more makes this map a whole different map than the old version. So expierence the adventure and try it out. If you have any comments or found any bugs please let me know.

Use the update button! This is probably like the third time you've broken this rule! I will try to take a look at the map when I get the time. Terrain does look promising from the minimap image.

Apparently if you upgrade spells to level 5 and then upgrade again spells become bugged. Jo.gaz's 1st spell turned into a no mana no cd permastun while his rain of fire did nothing.

This map has definitely come a long way since you posted the first versions of it. Looks awesome now, I will check it out as soon as I can.

The terrain is quite good, and so is the gameplay, but there are a few things I really want you to fix:
  • The leaks, there are many of them (trigger-related).
  • The Banana-triggers... combine them all into one, please! (Trigger-related).
  • Give credits in-game (I couldn't find the credits there).

I'll already approve it, since those changes (apart from the credits) don't really matter too much.

I enjoy the idea and the whole concept of this map. The description is pretty detailed too. I haven't tried the map but from what I'm hearing from the above comments and from your description, I'm gonna like it.

Just one more thing you can do, get a proper map picture thing. I forgot what it's called but it's the picture which people view when they download your map. Your current map picture thing is just the minimap. If you get a proper one, I'm sure more people would be interested in your map.

PS. Sorry for not knowing what the picture is called.

I don't know if this happened to anyone before, but when We're fighting that troll boss and he does his "Special Move" we get sent to some pirate guy that tells us to kill Olaf and his crew. This happens in the middle of the battle with the elementals

Ahem : Upon Testing this map with a friend, I couldn't help noticing the following :

- Boulder throw = Lags horribly, I'm certain it's due to leaks...fix this.

- Second Orc (who's name I can't pronounce...the Mage) - His spells are okay...I guess...but really, he's highly vulnerable and the fact you can't attack (melee), means you'll be relying on single target / AoE spells ALL the time to attack...which means = Cool-downs leave you wide open to massive damage.

- Rethink the "balance". I actually tried "Easy" on my first go with my partner...We lost at the "Sand Worm" Arena. Dying is actually easier that it seems to beginners such as myself. So how about make "Easy" actually mean "Easy" ? (Yes, I'm aware there's a "Begginer" option too, but I tried that too and saw no major difficulty reduction)

* Otherwise :

- Terrain - Decent 3/5
- Models - Above Average 4/5
- Skins - High Quality 5/5
- Story - Satisfying 4/5
- Spells - Troublesome 3/5

- Over-all : 4/5 ...but since you've got 4 5/5 ratings, I guess I can wait for you to update the map in fixing lag related issues...

I've never had that in all those times I tested it with my friend.

It's not an Orc it's an Ogre, second me and my friend did this on Normal and it was quiet easy for us.
There's nothing wrong with Boulder Throw?

I made this map a lil' difficult because when I play other RPG's it's waaaay too easy.

Had the same problem. We theorized the triggers for those cutscenes are triggered by ANY unit (there's always a storm cloud thing nearby when it happens). Change the conditions to only trigger if unit is owned by one of the players and this should stop happening.

Great map, I'd like to see the rest, but we can't get through the boss fight like this.

I check this map when my friend avaliable and tell what i think
I saw some grammar errors on description: "The Ogre's leave immediately "there" homes
the next morning" dont you mean their?

Edit: Tested it, and my friend got a bug with jo'gaz while blinking to a place and couldn't blink out, lighting strike doesnt sound a spell that removes all buffs... vetje taunt its same as huzok but doesnt increase damage or armor like said.
For now i rate it 2/5 until improved

I'm not sure if this happened to anyone else, but as I played it, I blinked all over the place with the mage ogre and was able to completely bug the game to the point that I couldn't finish it. Also, while blinking, I was able to find like 3 other ogres that were under my control throughout the map?

Great map, but there are 2 bugs I found on my way when I'm playing:
-When I buy the ability point-3 (item to level-up ability) for Huzok, why the ability that is level up is number 2 (the one that used to charge enemies), not the ability number 3 (throw boulders to nearby enemies)? Check it.
-I arrive at a place that have been separated, and I think I must activate a switch to rise a bridge. Also, there is 2 square floor(right sides) on the river(or whatever it says) with a gold coin over it. So, I use the second ogre (I forget his name) to blink on it and gather gold coins. When I reach the 2nd square floor, I notice there is a small road/floor in front of me, and I blink to there. I go along, and I found many waterfalls, and 2 gold coins. After notice there is nothing to be left there, I want to back to the 2nd square floor, using the Blink ability, but it won't work. I try many times to blink to the 2nd square floor, but still won't work. It is exactly when I try to blink through the rolling stone bridge, blocked by it.
But, this map has good potential, and I like to give 5/5 if there are no bugs left there.

Hey there, me and my friend just beat the map and it's freaking awesome. I loved everything in the map. At first we thought that the bossfight with the troll is impossible, but we just needed to think a little. There were a few a bugs which made this harder.
-We saved at the places we thought were hardest and when we load the game our abilities were messed up. The passive for Huzok was at 2 places - at its normal place and over my first ability, so i couldnt use it. Jo'Gaz's abilities changed places after loading.
- When you get to the last place where you can buy stuff/upgrade abilities (i wont spoil where) , when you try to upgrade your first ability, instead of taking XX amount of gold , it gives you the same amount, and when you click it , you can't use that ability anymore(you just see your casting animation and that's it).
- When Jo'Gaz used his healing ability it bugged and the yellow bubble stayed on him forever and when he used his lightning ability, his hands started beeing covered in lightning forever.
I think that's it. This map was so fun, one of the best i have played. Me and my friend really want it to have a second part even tho the ending, which is the only thing i didn't like. So.... yeah.. keep up the good work. I can't give it less than 5/5!
