Please I need suggestions and ideas for further versions. Please contact me if you have either.

Game Basics
You start off as a major power in 1802 Europe after the Treaty of Amiens. You're goal is outmatch your rivals and become the soul Emperor of the continent. Capturing Villages, Towns and Cities to represent territory and to give resources. The more territory you hold the more gold you will get to fund your military. Pick your allies by using the generic chat-command of "-ally [color], -Na [color]" or pick your enemies by "-Unally [color]".

Use your military skill and diplomatic prowess to position yourself as champion of 19th century Europe.

2.7BETA Changelog:
-Increase Cavalry effectiveness against infantry
-Increased Elite guards food cost from 1 to 2
-Fixed tooltips so they don't reference old systems

2.6BETA Changelog:
-Added autowar trigger(makes players unally when you attack their units)
-Removed commercial buildings, units now require food.
-Made techtree more complicated. You now need to upgrade all 3 tiers in order to make it to the max level in each.
-Added a edited bash ability to dragoons and curassiers.
-Increased costal bombardment ranged by 100
-Added garrison units to all starting armies
-Fixed tips
-Increased minimum range
-Now when units are attacked by cavalry they auto-switch to bayonets

-Fixed splash damage from attacking allies for ships.
-Reduced Lag to make playable
-Fixed Neutral hostile bug that made them passive.
-Added Units to Poland and Holland to make them stronger.


2.2BETA:
-Removed Weather Effects (I.E Snow, Rain, Rays of light.)
-Removed Grouping System
-Added starting armies
-Fixed game menu type on Austria - Prussia(Previously misslaballed Ottoman Empire)
-Balanced Artillery better
-Reset unit costs and building time
-Made sea battery stronger
-Minor terrain tweaks.

2.0Final Changelog:
-Had to remove tons of models and imported more optmized ones to replace. Notable are the Villages, Towns, City and General models.
-Replaced icons with more wc3 matching ones and only kept historic icons for generals.
-Added new icons for Infantry, Artillery, Calvary upgrades.
-Added icons for attack types.
-Terrain changes across the map. Mostly adding rivers. Such as the Danube, Rhine, Po ect.
-Split cannons up into 3 types. 4pdr, 8pdr, 12pdr Field Artillery.
-Added Square Formation for defense against Calvary for Infantry.
-Revised the upgrade system. Now you must be at a certain level for certain units to be accessible. You can train Regulars once you upgrade your infantry doctrine to level 3 and ect for every unit.
-Made Cobble stone and Stone path terrain the only buildable terrain except for defensive structure.
-Added Engineer that is trained at the military academy. Now constructs defensive structures.
-Added Ferries for easier movement and more realistic conditions.
-Ships of the line can now attack at a very low range in-land at ground units, structs, ect.
-Many balancing changes and upgrade enhancements.

James, THIS (other ver) , even if it is a bit..buggy..
the other WW2 map, which i cant find on the hive any more, sadly, its one of the only good ww2 maps, since it has japan included....which makes it instant win, mind you, even if it hasnt got much good gameplay compared to the others, just having japan makes it win..XD

Fun map ! i rate it 4/5

-line formation work on hospital and canon ...
-"restore morale" officer spell just delete "line formation" buff ^^ this spell is really useless
-add reload time to warcry plz
-"charge" for melee units is useless.... better give them a "frenzy" based spell or a passive spell ...
- remake a bit your terrain... Check Europe before Rome or lords of europe
- add tips ingame
-officer have the same description than grenadier...
- strangely austria begin with one units in sweden army ...
and last :
--> Make a changelog !

edit : oh.. generals need more range...

Thank you for the suggestions they're extremely helpful!

Be more specific on the terrain adjustments you think need to be made because I'm not going to spam doodads and cliffs like those two maps you suggested. This style of warfare needs some open plains.

And there are tips in-game.

And I guess the only general without short range is Napoleon or Emperor Alexander. I meant to change that already because heroes get targeted out in the front of lines.

The rest are being fixed as we speak.

No Battalion Formations and Systems??? The older version of it has a Battalion System and formations... Right? Without the battalion system and formations its hard to manage my whole army....

Because the system lagged to badly and was actually quite useless besides the sexy factor. You're right though it was much easier to mass move men. I'll add in the old Group-Order-Army ability.

there is a problem with the ferry points on denmark, they cant seem to transport troops. I dont know the exact details, but a friend of mine was complaining on that. Can u check to see if u can fix that prob?

when new version come i played it full team it was fun i win ;P hehehe did you have deleted old versions? there was other reduxe but cant find that i have on pc

1.Is there a specific problem with the Danish ferry? You have to control bother sides of the ferry and the sea zones adjacent to them.
2. Check on Epicwar.com for older versions of AoN.

Oh and I'm planning on adding a 12th player, Pink. They would choose in-game weather they would like to be Poland or Holland.

Love the game. Need to add a ferry from North Africa into Spain, also need a Ferry from GB into Ireland. Peasants should be able to build cobble stones. Sea batteries should not need to be loaded with men nor need cobble stones and cost 0 food. Next thing I wanna mention is this game crashes with the gate and bring back the "Flank" please :thumbs_up:

Also I think southern Ireland revolted in the time period, I could be wrong. Some music playing in the background would add to environment of the game. Grenadiers look fat too. Also Navy is kinda pointless in the game... because with the population they cost you could just go pure land army and just take land settlements, plus this gives you a less chance of dying. I would add in naval shore bombardment(with decent range and decent attack) and I would make it so Naval units could attack the ferry beacons. I would also up the trade routes income and food population. I could see this posing a threat to any nation that has majority of their empire near water. All I can say to this is give them extra sea batteries and have them cost 0 food and require 0 men to attack and up its attack. This would ultimately solve the problem.

Also James7, you should have an option for workers to build cobblestone on regular cities as well, so you dont have all ur buildings scrunched up in one place, because then units will get blocked off when u make them.

Also...Why do ships friendly fire each other? And how come Admiral units cant attack? I think you should make them to do so..Also, the coastal bombardment is weak...u should buff them for next vers.

Ferries shouldn't be attacked by ships. This removes the point of landing an army anywhere really. You need to make a d-day to take a ferry. I like it that way, seeing as the ferries can really screw someone like England over.

I've added cobblstone across the map so it's every where that's appropriate for it. And I may added an ability that would allow you to create cobble stone but I need more testing on that.

I've also removed food limit and am gonna add a "Re-Man Division" ability that cost 'Reserves" which is what I'm gonna replace lumber with. This ability re-mans your divisions to full strength for a price of 'Reserves'. It makes more sense to me than a food limit. Also lumber will be collected the same as gold but only from population buildings like villages, towns, cities. And I may start charging units lumber to be trained. To fit the system.

Sounds good. D-day invasions can still be done. That's why you created transports right? The thing about ships being to attack would make you need to defeat the UKs navy before invading which makes sense and if you have naval suprerior it makes sense that you can land whenever u want. But lets be realistic here game wise... GB doesn't cannot create enough troops to defeat France without taking colonies around the world. Oh wait... you said you removed food.

Well, my other suggestions still stand, up'ing sea trade routes and making coastal bombardment more dmg and a bit more range. Sea batteries costing 0 food and requiring 0 men to load. Also sea batteries/forts need cobble stones which sucks.

Nice changes James, but are you going to make it so that ships dont friendly fire each other anymore? And have admiral units(including heroes) be able to attack other ships.

Also, what i dont like is how come when u unload cannons or hospitals, they slow all units down around them? can u remove this?

I kinda noticed that field hospitals heal way too fast. Takes a long ass time to kill a single unit when the field hospital keeps healing it. It's not too bad when you use the generals +40 attack but without buffs omg... speed should be reduced by 1/2.

Actually you can set your own prefrence on the group slowing down problem. It's in the minimap buttons, just click the group one to make units scatter and not wait for slower units. I'm pretty sure that's it anywho.

Yeah I'll make feild hospitals slower.

And you want me to increase the income sea routes give? I was also going to add a bombarder ship that can blast away at cities and land units along the coast but is weak against ships, expensive and limited to a small amount.

mmm sounds delicious. Nations like Naples, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain need more defense if you add this in though. Some more sea batteries on their land would be help counter-balance this. The new ship idea is good, but could be devastating for nations but mainly for Naples and Portugal. You don't want a Nation to be able to be killed just by these new ships so, I would recommend giving them a few more sea batteries and of course they'll need to build more later on.

I don't know if you've done this yet but, I've made this suggestion a few times already. 0 food for sea batteries and no men required to load it.

I 2nd Roguewave's Idea. Oh, have you ever thought of adding in Mercenary Camps into the game? Hired troops for gold coin but at inflated prices?

If so, I recommend them being in only the Neutral Area's of the world map and not captureble.

I think southern Ireland should be neutral during this time period.

Also, what's the point of all these neutral sea batteries/earth spikes in the map? They aren't even loaded with men. Either load them with men or remove them.

It should be based off of how many docks you own, and capped at a certain set number.

Played it today when I saw it hosted pubby. It has a lot of problems and they need to be fixed. While I was happy that the game has new things I was also not thrilled about the problems I noticed. Fix James fix!

as i know Alexander I is a Russian and not an Austrian and so one of his officer. Russia is Leaderless in this update... only Barclay de Tolley(if im not wrong) is the only general of the Russian army and one admiral named Ironsides are in charge of the army... pls. fix these.

as i know Alexander I is a Russian and not an Austrian and so one of his officer. Russia is Leaderless in this update... only Barclay de Tolley(if im not wrong) is the only general of the Russian army and one admiral named Ironsides are in charge of the army... pls. fix these.

Ouch I see the problem that would pose. I'll update quickly.
