A Lion among wolves

This model was laying on my computer for some time. I didn't want to release it because of the problems with the animations. Finally it's finished.

There are two versions, one with the sword and shield and the other with typical paladin/Arthas animations(two handed).

Give credits if you use this model/s and enjoy!

A wonderfully detailed and well made model. Works in-game and performs well. Great job.

The model is based on this great artwork drawn by the Samwise Didier, though I ended editing it a bit. If you want to use the portrait for the second version(Two handed one) just rename the portrait file to A Lion among wolvesV2_Portrait.

Now this is a Heroic Footman. : D

Fantastically detailed, very heroic, much cool. Also I love seeing models designed off of Samwise art!! (even in this instance, where you didn't even draw the main featured character of the picture (I suppose that's simply a testament to Mr. Didier's excellence; even the other characters in his pieces ooze awexomeness)).

Considering the artwork is called "A Lion Among Wolves", I'd argue that the human is indeed the main character in the piece - even if the raider is more detailed.

Speaking of, the title of this model and the artwork make me think of Lannisters and Starks.

And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that’s all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.

Great model as usual. I love the detail on his gear. I would suggest making his face longer and add more space between his lips and nose. Plus if you can replace those Bandit drawn-on eyes with pupils from any of the other characters in Warcraft (they're available in plenty of colours, use Medivh for brown), that's always a bonus. Awesome work either way!
