Introduction
"Farmers Life, On the Farm!" created by TwentyThree is a map where you have the role to be a Farmer, you plant Seeds, you take care of Animals etc.
But thats not all, that Map gives you some other "real life" aspects too, but more on this in the Features.
Features

-Farming(of course ;P)
-Take care of your Animals
-Explore the World around your little Farm
-Do Quests in the Town
-You need to sleep or else you cant do most of the Actions
-You need to eat or else you die!
-Your own Personal Dog!
-Cut Wood, mine Iron&Stone, go fishing, forge new Equipment and much more!

Known Bugs:
-"Nevermind" on Cropbuypage1 doesnt work
-In the Tutorial, the Camera changed to the mill after one dialog(fixed in the next Version*alrdy fixed*)

I laughed at how he slept. He wandered into the bed and fainted while blood was coming out of his neck. And then woke up moments later uninjured. Oh and that is one huge ass bed.

edit: I didn't actually have to eat much when i was at level 4ish and over. I just regenerated everything.

SUGGESTION PAGE
Suggestion: Mushrooms make stuff better... Always... More types of mushrooms add variety... Variety is good too...
Suggestion: Different contests the mayor gives you... It gets kinda wierd when you go to the town every few minutes and you get awarded a sock for your efforts for finding a contest mining pickaxe.
Suggestion: When you get a quest, ping the location of where it is, i didn't know scat about where the wolf den was.
Suggestion: Different enemies are good, the only enemies i catually saw were wolves and bandits (i was hoping the bandits would have at least 1 gold).
Suggestion: Yah brah, yah need ah screen shot. Edit: Yhay!
Suggestion: Bee hive is need hiving your bee. [need a bee hive]

You could change the UI texts such as "Cannot target derbis" "Must target building" to something helpful.

And is there anything you could do about the constant lag spikes? Avoid calculating something needlessly instead calculating only when there's a change and otherwise just apply the effects ect.

Oh the starting cinematic could have longer delays, I bet few could read the texts completely in the time that was given.

All an all, could use some fine tuning to give it a more polished feel.

I'm not too much into these simulators but if one has time I'm they can be a lot out of this.

Well, most of the things are graphicchanges and i think that are less important for the first few updates.
And thanks for your ldoom berrie edit, that made my day xD
You can stack berries, buy a Berry sack at the Shop(i must say, myself NEVER doed something with berries .__.)

lag spikes? Please be a bit more accurate(but i know what lagspikes are xD)? Myself got rarely lags when i playd that map in Multiplayer, and never spikes(but just with Flaffi the most time, 2 test some things...)
And lags are on the other Hand problems of a bad connection, but as you maybe read, the first thing what i doed was fixxin leaks (yesterday i stopped at the creep respawn system folder and reworked it) and after that i wanted 2 smooth triggers^^

bout the starting cinematic, flaffi said that too but i wanted 2 see the opinions of other people, but i think i should make it longer, yeah.
But how im supposed 2 make it "longer"?

Basicly, i must edit the "Add X.XX Seconds" and wait, right? So 20 Seconds and wait=The message appears 20 seconds long?
Because i changed it some times(one time even 2 800 or something like that) but i wasnt able 2 see a change in the duration

I dont like "Farm ville" either, and im surely not going to rename that Map to something that alrdy exist, even if i get more attention(at the first look that Maps maybe looking like a 4/5, but myself is rating it at something between 2/5 or 3/5 atm) because of that "fake"-factor

No, sorry, i was never be able to be on a Farm in the mediaevaltimes. Im 18 Years old and the mediaevaltimes were a very long time ago :<...and a "real" Fantasy"age" never existed(or at least nobody is thinking it).
 
I wasn't meaning fantasy?.what do you take me for? I live, and work on my familys vegtable farm, and most everyone in my community homesteads, meaning that they grow and consume practically everything themselves. very similar to medival ages, wis some improvements.

this map is not very acurrate in terms of how things are acually done, and how they work, if you would like, i could give you some advice for overhaul.

Surely that map isnt much like a "real" Farm, but kinda like(more then a normal meele map xD) but they need much to be improved, i know(and thats just the second patch since i work on this map, and i gave the Versions the name "a" and "b" not just because i like a a,b,c sysem or something like that, because the 2 patches were more like bigger "bugfixes" then real "patches" ,because i think in a patch there must be new content.)
If you have Suggestions and critism feel free to say it^^.
But i hope your not like that other guy with a comment like this because thats a map to have fun and not something where you must realy hard work some weeks/years on it xD(Like most of the Nippon Ichi games, more work then fun xD)

This game is fun but I found a really easy way to make money that is probably not supposed to be used this way. A normal watering can sell for 5 gold with 1 charge but if you fill it up in the well it becomes 10 charges and thats worth 50 gold. So people would just have to buy watering cans bring it back to the well. Fill it up and sell it for 50 each. With the mercenaries that can carry six items each, this method can make tons of money in short amount of time. All and all make the watering should be sold for 5 gold no matter the charges. But without this cheat this game is still fun.

Yes. Improve the farming realisim.
Like i said, i never was on a real Farm, so maybe the things that i thougt bout a "real" Farm are different from yours, i only played "Harvest Moon" but thats a Game too xD.
So, next time please accurate suggestions

I always wanted a farm, and now I have one in my computer:grin: I played with that for hours.
But an error found with the Oat when i try to feed my first chickens, I can't use Oat on them, or any other things, It's just droppable. My poor chickens are starving:cry:

Monsiuer Flat,
I, the orgional creator of the game, have made almost everything in the map, with exceptions now because of the my associate Sky. I live on a farm, I grow vegetables, fruit, and raise animals as well, and i made it like so because of the realism is far too detailed for it to be 100% accurate as in real life. I enjoy that your attempting to help Sky, and i hope Sky learns something useful... in case he gets stranded on an island for years and needs to grow vegetables :p

Smoothed all triggers now(just the "only-trigger" related things, not all of course and fixed some bugs.
Now i write a list with my thoughts how i want 2 change some things in the map(in my homelanguage, german, of course, just a note for me xD") and in the same time smooth all a lil bit more, but i want 2 share a part with you and want your thoughts bout that =D

For Crops/Vegetable related things
New Models
Different Qualitis(depentend on which seed used, care of the crop while it grows(like fertiliziser(or how its called in english <-<), some Random/luckyness, etc.)
You cant just plant a new crop out of a vegetable, you must buy seeds(You cant plant a "Lettuce", but can plant "Lettuce Seed" or something like that) or make Seeds out of the vegetable yourself(with a profession of course)
brauch mehr zeit zum wachsen
Different seasons with different weather(chances) and you can plant seeds only in specific seasons
Weather has bigger effects on Crops
Trees with Apples etc.
Rework of the actual Crop...system...(i mean the whole watering, harvestinglikestuff)

Hope its understandable xD
ah, and i got a Skilltreeidea, if you lvl up you can choose between some things like Crops growing 10% faster or you needin lesser to eat(just examples, but stuff like that)

thats some of my thought, and not thoughts like "its all in in one new patch" i change little by little :>(the list is bigger of course thats just an example)

Pretty good idea, the ones that were used are sort of OK, but custom models are always welcomed!
-Qualities
Very nice idea, I think FERTILIZER (for your benefit <3) is a really good idea, as well as the seed quality, though it might be difficult to implement.
-The season idea is very nice. I found a good season system with weather, I'll PM you with the info :p
-Crop System

Hi there!

I don't know one thing, maybe i'm newbie but think you can't use oat to feed chickens and pigs. Is that bug??

no, you should be able to feed your pigs with the oats, as well as the chickens...
i'm looking at the trigger right now and it should work!
