  • V.1.6. Update - Captain Falric's learning button positions fixed, Tome of Retraining removed from shops and added to heroes when they begin, the Bloodhill Remnants will no longer display in the loading screen upon completing the game. Granary Houses are now different and not the same considering HP wise.
  • V.1.5. Update - Upgraded the entire terrain of the map. Andorhal City now truly looks thriving and even I'd invade it if I was apart of the Scourge. Added outlying farms near Andorhal that are affected by the Plague of Undeath, while others aren't. Bloodhill Remnants' Location of two bandits moved. Added scoreboard and enemy hero quotes. All heroes upgraded, their latest passive abilities are now featured in this map as well, while one of the Captain's got a new model and look fitting for himself. Andorhal has received a whole new cathedral, farmstead within the city itself, and a new section called "Andorhal Graveyard" which wasn't present before. The Graveyard is where Kel'Thuzad is fought and his throne chair has been changed, along with icy crystals added for it's decorations.
  • V.1.4. Update - Updated hero's passive abilities. The Captains Defend ability is now unique compared to the standard defend ability. (They have a chance to resist Piercing, Magic, and Spell attacks), while Arthas' old spell, "Fortified Will", has been replaced with a brand new one called "Light's Embrace". Jaina's Frostbolt has been updated. Passive abilities now no longer cost mana, but have a long cooldown duration. Arthas can now heal himself with Holy Light as well. Introduction color code added and the "Cult of the Damned" is now marked in blue color. Undead Scourge units upgraded. The Undead Scourge and Cult of the Damned heroes now have their own AI and will attack the Alliance bases at random.
  • V.1.3. Released - Command Aura completely fixed. Cinematic should now also show where the bandits are located while still displaying the warning words. Enemy shout sounds will no longer play during cinematics. Enforcers have increased HP and Medium armor.
  • V.1.2. Released - Chaplains and Axemen have been updated. Chaplains now have different spell then priests. Added the items that can be acquired from the previous maps that I lately added in previous updates. Mostly by the request of Hell Master.
  • V.1.1. Released - If there are any bugs. Will update. With permission from CloudWolf to the users and I quote "Everything I make is open-source so your welcome to use my resources for any purpose". With this opportunity given. Arthas Menethil's skin has been updated along with Falric's cape. Special thanks to the member Lockheart for making this possible.
Information: A remake of the Scourge of Lordaeron campaign with my own ideas, systems, and other various custom material added made for 2Players specifically. The plan of my campaigns are usually to make both players special in some sort of a way. For example: Both having their own units, structures, upgrades, and more. To make the Campaign maps harder to play and more interesting. This campaign will be made before the Curse of the Blood Elves. Characters that appeared in the novel will be added such as "Falric, Marwynn, Thassarian, and Luc Valonforth". The captains will be recognizable and not confusing anymore. This map is originally made by Blizzard Entertainment for Warcraft 3: The Reign of Chaos Campaign's called The Scourge of Lordaeron. However, in the beta Blizzard removed some of it's content. Such as the Duelist and some other material in it's future maps. I used this and implemented it into the game. They even didn't feature the full name of Arthas in it and divide the captains that served under Arthas. Even this was added to the game. Their campaign felt as if it didn't capture the Humans much as it did in the Novel. This map features also my new sort of difficulty. Hints that are meant to be divided are and will only display on the screen to the player who requires it. Quests shall now reward both heroes of both players and the enemy sides will be more harder in "Hard Mode" to defeat. Description of the Player's Armies:
Player 1 plays with Prince Arthas Menethil, the son of King Terenas Menethil the Second. Arthas Menethil gathers another Captain by the name of Luc Valonforth along with Player 2's Hero, Captain Falric, in order to investigate a strange plague spreading throughout Northern Lordaeron. After discovering who was behind this plague, or who they at least think are behind it. The two sides and heroes proceed to Andorhal to stop the one they suspect of being the leader of the newly rising dead. Only to find out that there is more to that in their lost land of Andorhal.
Description of the Undead Scourge:
The Undead Scourge have been heavily upgraded in this map. They have two bases. One stationed to the north-east and one to the middle-east. One is reachable through a way gate and one is not. The Undead Scourge are minions sent by the Lich King to ensure the Cult of the Damned succeeds in what they were sent to accomplish. Abrakkar, the Wretched, leads them to the north and is known for betraying his own people and selling them out to the Scourge. The middle-east undead base is lead by a tormented spirit that died in the harsh darkest time during the plague of Andorhal. A young human woman, former captain, and now the Wraith: Lockie Lockheart.
Description of the Cult of the Damned:
After their success at Brill. The Cult of the Damned proceeded under the Dreadlord's, Mal'Ganis', instructions to plague and butcher Andorhal. Brill was only a distraction, it would seem, and now the Cult of the Damned are in charge of leading the nearby Undead around Andorhal to cleanse the living from the land. Their main base of operations, during this mission, is Andorhal and they are lead by Kel'Thuzad. The Cult of the Damned have established a base not far from Andorhal and a powerful skeleton orcish lord called "Adrelf'kal Bloodfury" protects their base. Adrelf'kal is another tormented spirit turned into a monster that failed to protect his people, but his orcish people.
Description of the Boss Mode:
Your curiosity will be the death of you, as Kel'Thuzad said. Kel'Thuzad is now a boss featured in the 2Player: Human Campaign of the Scourge of Lordaeron that doesn't die just from one Holy Light like in the original map. Kel'Thuzad is now a hero that the players get to fight during the end of the map, but highly protected by abominations. The Abominations are now powerful and Kel'Thuzad cannot be hurt until the generators that are creating a magical invulnerable shield around him are destroyed. It is only then that he can be fought and killed. After his protecting buildings die. As stated in the novel. Kel'Thuzad was apart of the Cult of the Damned, but technically wasn't "undead" when he was apart of the Scourge while being a Necromancer. Kel'Thuzad is a living human still and for this reason the powers of the Holy Light will not effect him since he isn't an undead unit, but only evil.
Description of Enemy Shout Sounds:
My newest feature to my type of a 2Player Campaign maps. The Enemy Shout sounds are heard by normal units and heroic units of the enemies. When a Ghoul or Necromancer spawn. A sound will be heard from each of them. For example. If a Crypt finished training a Crypt Fiend. He'd spawn and a sound would be heard playing from him that goes like "For the Spider Kingdom!". When the Necromancers cast spells. They will shout words at you that will be heard like sounds. Such as "Tremble before the Scourge!". Many heroes do this as well and play their own various sounds. Each enemy now seems more special then before.
Description of Bloodhill Remnants:
Menag was once a farmer of Westfall who moved to Lordaeron to start a swell life. He began his own farm, but something was amiss. The orcs invaded his farmstead during the second war and destroyed Blackwood. A residence Menag lived in and had a nearby farmstead at. Menag seemingly blamed the elves of the Alliance for letting a small battalion of orcs slip away from their attacking force and then burning Blackwood to the ground. He even reported this to the field investigators that confirmed this and demanded for the elves to answer for their "failed aid". Menag demanded the title deed of his burned farm and the insurance cowering it signed by Alliance officials themselves. He even offered to rebuild Blackwood and to start anew. The Alliance were preoccupied with war at that time and they considered Menag's request nothing but bother at that time. Outraged by everything he lost. Menag packed up and left Blackwood. He started his clan of bandits that were much like himself: "Abandoned and Forgotten by their own people." The Bloodhill Bandits cowered all routes of Lordaeron's roads. They did not only pray upon the Invading Orcish Horde, but the Alliance themselves. The Bloodhill Bandits were becoming larger and larger with each passing day. To this day the Bloodhill Bandits blame the Alliance for how they treated their own people and let them slip down the dark road they had to. Menag, a bandit lord of the Bloodhill Bandits, robbed the farmer Gerard and his wife Matilda when Arthas was near Strahnbrad. Menag stole Gerard's ledger, full of vital information regarding the estate of the local farmer. Without the ledger, Gerard would lose his farm. Menag then fled with his men across a river as he saw Prince Arthas, a paladin, approaching. Arthas hunted Menag down at the request of Gerard, killed Menag and his band, and got the ledger back. After the death of their leader, Menag, and their secondary leader, Benedict. The Bloodhill Bandits' finest members struggled for leadership among their ranks. With the sudden appearance of the Undead Scourge and the Cult of the Damned. The Bloodhill Bandits have become hounded by the rising dead. Captain Falric's followers are made out of privateers, criminals that were once bad and now turned good. Gather the Bloodhill Remnants in the area around Andorhal and they will pledge their loyalty to your cause.

I have played your 2P Campaign: Human 04 and I must say that it's looking fair as always. Now let's get straight to the main points, I see that you fixed all of the problems I stated on your previous maps of this namely the broken color tag and you provided me a reasonable explanation about the Axeman and Footman's stats.

Now time for the good points, I liked the optional quest where you rescued Bandits and take them as your units. It really gives some advantages to you over the Undead Force and the Cult. The Undead Force quest is also very awarding that it gives an orb item to the Captain Luc and Jaina which could be simple on the first look but is good actually on damage dealing and improves the battle capabilities of both Captain Luc and Jaina.

Overall, there's no bug and all's good but I cannot give a perfect rating due to that the map is still simple and no offense meant to the creator but is also easy to work on. Again, I do not mean to give insults or strike sharp insults on the map but it's not up for such a perfect rating. Maybe some interfaces improvements could actually make me raised this to 5/5 like redoing the tooltips and making them much more better and organized than how the blizzard does their tooltips and some changes on the tooltip descriptions for the gold, lumber, foods and etc. since this is the only change plausible for the map unless you'll take the risk of completely changing the map but removing the genuine feel in it.

Rated 4/5 and Approved.

Everything looks good so far, except none of the 3 enemy heroes are there, except Kel'Thuzad. I don't know if I have to get the confront Kel'Thuzad mission first in order to have them spawn or trigger something or what. But all 3 enemy bases don't have a hero

Now that is impossible. They do. An orc undead skeleton, a Wraith, and a Lich. I checked right now and it's the latest update. So I really don't know what to say. :O

Hmmm, I downloaded these maps today, so it should be the latest update. Is there anything that I need to do to get them to show up, or are they there at the beginning of the mission? I'm playing by myself, so I put the computer slot on my team to open, then I take control of their players. Is it maybe because I have it as open instead of a computer taking control? I'll try it again, and see if anything I do works

Edit: Tried re-downloading the map, still no enemy heroes. Their teams are in the start menu, its just they're not actually in the map

Well, they are in the map, I assure you. Two look like regular units with a hero's glow and one is a normal hero, an original Lich. But I might tell you that sometimes Warcraft versions do screw up with multiplayer maps. Oldest versions tend to do that a lot, because many of the models were upgraded and bugs were fixed. It could be that, or it could be that you added a "check" mark when you set your map settings when it says "Automatic add hero for each team". - Make sure that's disabled. If it isn't that, I am not sure. Kel'Thuzad is activated after you talk to him in a cinematic and is fought as the final boss, the others behave as normal heroes. Spawning from an altar, attacking your base, etc.

NOTE: Which difficulty are you playing? Make note that if you play EASY difficulty, all enemy heroes except for Kel'Thuzad, are removed. If you play NORMAL, only one of them is present. If you play HARD, all are present. You are probably playing easy, so that's why they're all missing?

Yep, that's the issue. I was playing on easy for all the maps. Thanks for making that note! It would've bugged me. I'm probably being way too much of a perfectionist, but could you add something like that in future maps, like if an event or a hero or something doesn't show up or happen because of difficulty settings and make note of it in the descriptions of future maps? That way (if someone's as anal as me and actually notices) people won't be confused.

Tried the 2nd level again, and realized that was the same thing for the 2 enemy heroes on that map as well. Was playing on easy, therefore they weren't showing up. Why did you decide to do it like that in the human maps? In the prologue maps, there were enemy heroes on easy. Just curious
