Chapter 8: Dissension

"Early the next morning at Arthas' new base camp…"

Extra Score: Number of Critters Killed

Level Description: While Arthas is away, his men receive orders to pack up and return home. In a fury, Arthas declares that they must finish their mission, and decides to burn the men's ships, he must, however, request the aid of some mercenaries along the way.

Changelog:
Version 1.0 - First complete release.
Version 1.1 - Fixed a bug which could result in not being able to save/load.
Version 1.2 - Using recent melee patch.
Version 1.3 - Fixed a defeat bug.
Version 1.4 - Revised score system.
Version 1.6 - Mass code update.
Version 2.0 - Mass update for all maps: [link]
Version 2.1 - Insane/Normal Load Bug Fix. Endgame save/load code bug fixed. Enemy item drop fixed.
General Changes:
- Less trees to be destroyed
- Resources split
- Timer set to 20 minutes

Insane Mode:
- Upgraded Creeps
- Added Lich
- Traps added to the Tower Path
- Less Time

ehm.. It is really good, but you can teleport your invincible soldiers to your hero with the pendant of recall. (Hope you will create more campaings i play them with a friend and we love them)

I have an idea that you could use in your maps TheSpoon n.n
I don't don't speak many english so... I'll give you an example:

"In the Night Elf Campaing the player who controls Tyrande could have the archers, the hunters, the hypogryphs, and all that kind of units. And the one who controls Malfurion could have only the druid, the giants, the chimeras, and that units to create."

I hope you understand the idea, and excuse me for my bad english ;(

I have only played a few of these so far, theyre great.
Just a question out of curiosity - do you think you can make all maps from first human campaign in RoC all the way to the last undead campaign in TFT?

I've thought about that before.
In chapter 9, Blue has all the Knights and Spellcasters, and Grey has all the Footmen, Riflemen and Dwarf units
But with the exchange system I'm gonna add I decided to allow players to both have the whole techtree available.
And you're english is fine xP

I am planning to: Yes
But I do doubt that I'll make it that far :C

I'll do my best and promise to try keep going as long as people continue to show interest

Great Job man, i really love your maps. But today when i reached Chapter 8, i could not load my code. I checked the code over a dozen times but it still doesn't work. But other than that, its been great. Keep up the good work.

Edit: After i finished this, i got the code and i tried to load it in Human 09 and it wouldn't work as well.

Just an idea that popped into my mind: On insane difficulty, you could remove the Amulet of Recall from the Goblin Shop because simply running through all the stuff (The towers, the Necromancer, the final big army with the Lich) in Divine Shield and recalling your troops to destroy the ship is lame.

A nice map thanks but for some reason when the cinematic ends all the trees are destroyed and I loose??!?!?!=/

Also I have tried twice and it has happened on the second try I noticed the trees just falling over as soon as it ended first time I was confused =/ any ideas???

I think I fixed it messed around a bit in WE triggers and managed to complete the level at last I messed with the tree chopping thing becuase as soon as the cinematic ended they were destroyed and I lost=/ then as soon as the level starts it says I've run out of time and fails the mission=/ x2 anyway you did a great job 5/5

It was the cinematic at the very start of the mission and I didnt touch the difficulty at all I was just confused as to why the trees were being destroyed when the cinematic ended, anyway as I said above I fiddled and fixed it, all credit for the map goes to you and blizzard though

Hey, I noticed something strange in this map, not sure if it's intentional. Player 2 gets a base in the top right. He has control of his units such as Falric, footmen, and riflemen. These units are invulnerable. If you use the talisman of teleportation bought from the goblin merchant, you can bring those invulnerable units to where Muradin is. These units can kill all the ships without ever being damaged, making this mission easy, even on insane.
