Want to play a classic, epic Hero Siege like from the good old times, but created with new, original ideas, lots of humor that will make you laugh, fantastic visual effects, many different heroes to choose from, and challenging bosses to fight? This is what you've been looking for!

This is a map based off of the classic 10 Hero Siege maps. This map was originally called 10 Hero Siege Felwood v6.0 by Fireeater, which was released many years back. He has long since stopped mapping, and I've taken over for him. All 10 Hero Siege maps out there are based on open source 10 Hero Siege maps. Fireeater's map was open source. I've remade the whole map, everything from triggers to creeps, heroes, and items.

Credits to model makers and beta testers are listed under Quests (F9) in-game.

Features:

-36 heroes, each of them unique from one another, many of them with triggered spells.
-Ultimate spells unique to each hero.
-Over 100 items to choose from.
-Custom models, attachments, and effects.
-Difficulty selection.
-Many cinematics.
-Very epic boss fights.
-Secrets and quests throughout the map for you to discover.
-Upgradable friendly computer units. Watch them blast your enemies away while giving you the bounty!
-Minigames.
-Item Combination system.
-Camera zoom-out and zoom-in.
-Attachments (For example, picking up the item Frostmourne will actually show your character holding it).
-Custom epic loading screen
-Many special effects (for your visual stimulation :thumbs_up:).


Objectives:

-Start out by picking from one of 36 different heroes, each with unique skills. These heroes range from Warcraft 3's heroes, to models and characters from Dynasty Warriors, Star Wars, Angels, Lord of the Rings' heroes, Diablo 3 and so on.

-Defend the base and destroy the Lich King's armies and bosses together as a team or by yourself, level up, power up with tomes and obtain epic items.

-Battle all the way to The Frozen Throne and destroy it.

-Although this is a "10 Hero" Siege, it is easily playable by a single person on an easier difficulty.

This map is all about having fun and laughs! This map does NOT follow Warcraft lore to the word, but has many of its characters in it.

This map is in beta stage. Pretty much I've tried to beta test it with myself and a few of my friends as much as possible, but of course we can't catch all the glitches and bugs. So I'm really looking forward to reviews and suggestions. They are greatly appreciated.

i have a bit problem..
when i choose Zhao Yun..
it comes up with random hero...

and also can u add more custom models hero :grin:

it's a fun map overall,havent finish it yet tho..

Thanks. That's a bug caused by another trigger that ran in conflict with it. I'll be fixing it in the next release, coming out soon.
About more custom models, yes, that is possible but the map size will get really big and I don't really want that ><. But we'll see. If there's a good idea for a new hero, I'll definitely get a new model for it. So, I'm totally open to new suggestions for heroes!

btw kengkyo also has the same bug as zhao yun..
and umm...would u consider less stun skill on bosess,atleast for single player mode, i rarely play with my friends (since no time to do it),its a pain when my hero have all the gears and stat,but can't even attack bosses once they start attacking.....my hero always stunned..
i know i should have bring reinforcement like mercenaries and stuff,but they dont do much against the bosses..

and another bug i found each time i play with my friends i always get seperated somehow,u know like on their screen i'm exiting the map,but in my screen they're the one whos leaving (i thinks there's a name for this kinda bug,just cant remember it.. xD)

add a -repick command perhaps ?
just for try out the heroes.

but seriously this is a fun map,been playing it over and over again...

I've fixed the bugs for the heroes Kengkyo, Sauron, Zhao Yun that caused them to spawn different heroes. It'll be fixed by the next release.

As for the stun on the final bosses, try to upgrade your own troops at the Crystal of Life, because when you upgrade them to Tier 4, they'll have loads of HP and they have their own stuns to stun bosses, plus the allied bosses that help you. So, it should be a pretty even match. I'll test it a few more times and see if it really needs to be decreased. Just make sure you aren't the first one charging into battle to take all the stuns. Let the friendly bosses take the stuns. Plus, Illidan has a big AoE stomp that stuns all enemies. So, even if you're being permabashed, you can wait for that stomp and then get out of the chaos.

I have experienced that separating bug. I believe it's called a sever split or something. I'm trying to determine the cause and trying to fix it. I'll let you know when I've found it and fixed it.

-repick will be added some time later, because I'm not really sure how to do it yet. I'll be experimenting with that.

well,what i mean by reinforcement and mercenaries were the ones u hire on unit shop.
I know if i upgrade the troops on crystal life they'll be more than helpfull,they can even finish the game without me doing nothing at level 4...tested on easy mode atleast...
what i want is (totally personal opinion,some ppl might not agree) that those troops are nothing more than supportive (nerf it down abit perhaps ?), and Heroes would be the one whos killing the boss. It's really confusing to look at the screen once the lvl 4 troops start attacking the boss at the final battle (it's a total chaos)..
and im not saying the final boss once u destroy the frozen throne who i have problems with.what i meant was the mini boss,that flyng sheep in the North-East corner for example...u cant tell troops helping us attcking it can we,unless we have mercenaries we hire on the unit shop..

I'm sorry if u think i complain to much,just an opinion of mine,if none of it u want to change,it's totally okay,im totally enjoying ur map..
sorry i cant be any help,dont know shit about map making,the only thing i know is playing it...xD

btw, i never know that Sauron has the bug,never had it each time i use Sauron...
can't wait for the next release :D.

Okay, I've made the repick mode.
Also, yeah, it's a bit of a pain to have lots of stun. I'm considering decreasing its percentage, or making the monsters such as the sheep hit more per attack with a lower attack speed so the bash won't come out as often.
Don't worry, you're not complaining too much. It's called constructive criticism and that's exactly what I need to make this map better. Thank you very much for your opinions.
Your english is just fine. I understand what you're saying.
I'm fixing up some minor bugs in the game. The next release is coming out in a few days.

o yeah the AloeVe-Ra skill, Sharp Claw, at level 3 it says "Gives a 0% chance that an attack will deal 0 damage to nearby units" O.O

hope u'll add more mini-game,item combination,and add more heroes..can't wait for the next release :D
btw no Frostmourne on easy mode ? or is it only on Emo mode ?

Ok I'll fix that as well. Yeah, you know how a lot of the Crypt Lord names end with -Ra? Yeah, so I was like "hmm....yes! Aloe Ve-RA!"
If you have any ideas for mingames/item combinations and heroes, tell me!

Frostmourne is only obtainable on Difficult, Impossible and Emo modes. Kill the "Wummy Tower" and he will drop a Cheese of Doom. Feed that to the sheep to get Frostmourne.

A couple of time my super peon picked up Tomes (heavy/really heavy),and each time i accidentaly click it,it always crash the game (fatal error,and CTD)..

and as for item combination,perhaps u can add more item combination for weapon/item dropped by bosses (ie, ragnarok, sword of the forgotten,etc)..because i notice later in the game that those items are scattered all over the map..
maybe 5 ragnarok combination into 1 item, or a combination of Sword of the forgotten + Trident + Killmaim,..and as for the result of the combination,well idk,im sure u can come up with something..
Just so that those commonly dropped by bosses items wont be such a waste,i know u can always pick it up and sell it,but i think in later game,specially when u're already able to kill bosses easily,resources wont be much a problem..

and if it's not too much to ask,would you change the Item description screen on recipe..like in DoTA perhaps,quicker to understand what item is needed,and nice to look at..(not that the current one is bad,well just a suggestion) ^^

Last night i was playing this map with 2 of my friends 9 times,and 6 of it were ended coz of server split, i notice that each time a player killed 2 boss consencutively, for example boss 1 and 2 killed by red player, a server split occured,or one of the player getting kicked. so we came up with an idea that each player kill the boss in order, like red kill first boss, and then blue kill the second boss, and so on till the last player has its turn killing the boss, then back to red player turn, we'll we did that and no errors or server split happened...(we had to restart the last 3 game because the Crystall getting destroyed, playing on impossible mode.. LOL)
I dont know if this will be any usefull,or just pure coincidence happening to us,i'll test it more tonight..because it doesnt seems to happen if only 2 poeple are playing...

I will add a mana requirement for heavy tome/really heavy tome so that nobody else except heroes will be able to use it and thus the game won't crash. I think Warcraft always crashes when you use tomes on a unit that isn't a hero. So don't do it!
As for the item combinations, I'll look more into it. So far, I always sell the extra boss drops, because they sell for good lumber. And I'll also add more description to the recipes, but that probably won't come out in this coming release.
As for the server split, I have no idea what causes it. I also played with 2 of my friends and no server splits for 3 games. But sometimes I play with one friend, server split occurs 5 minutes into the game. Very annoying. I hope I can find the cause soon.

and i see that Drek'thar splash damage still not working i think (should've told u before u release the new version), tried with cheat and only 1 creep died each hit, not like other hero who has splash damage that can kill 2 or more creeps each hit.and i wasnt using any orb,or having orb effect (vampire,etc)
Zhao Yun is awsome btw,just a bit suggestion (well another personal opinion :p )..since Zhao Yun and Guan Yu is using a Pole as their weapon,how about adding Cleave attack effect skll to them (small AoE)...
i'll test it more..

I've thought about PVP before, but I decided against it because it would limit players' playing style to solely hero buffing because they want to win the PVP events. Then nobody would be using mercenaries/building towers/getting resource harvesters etc. That would make the game more dull and linear.
I'll look into Drek'thar's splash damage.
There is only one "secret" hero. It is Arthas. The chance of getting him is 1/37
Originally, many melee heroes had cleave. But melee cleave was too rigged because the "cleave" damage ignores armor damage reduction. So if you had 100k damage and the cleave was 10%, you would be doing 10000 pure damage per hit to all nearby units. Since most bosses only have like 500k hp or so, depending on what mode you're playing, they die so fast since you're attack speed is like 7-8 hits per second. Maybe I'll make a cleave REALLY small or something hehe.

well i was thinking maybe a special PVP arena just to waste time while waiting stacking up resource for the finall battle or fighting the boss...if that's not much to ask.... :D

oh and another crazy idea,have ever thought about making a trade shop ? u know for trading lumber to gold,gold to lumber...

i wonder why they still havent approve this map.. :/
this is still my map of choice each time me and my friend play wc3...keep on adding some improvement,a really fun map this is :D

I think killing the Super Peon's inventory is a good idea. I gave them inventory so they could buy stuff like upgrades and cheeses while your hero is on the hunt. I guess I have to remove it now.
About the new event triggers, mainly they're teleportation portals. Now you can teleport from base to the enemy base once you complete certain objectives.
Good idea on the trade shop. I will add it in next version.
Ok, I will see if I have the skills to make a good PVP arena. Thanks for the support guys!

Sorry I've been busy for a few weeks. Next release will most likely be out within a week. Major changes will be a new PvP system, a new hero, many balancing changes, and skill changes for various heroes. Please stay tuned!

The game is too imbalance, but hell! who would disagree to a game that was only made for fun? nice map dude, but it will great if you could just upload this map to Epicwar.com for more players to enjoy this, keep up the good work!

The map is not really "imbalanced" because you can select the difficulty. Each hero is also strong and unique in his or her own way. On easy mode it's a walk in the park. Difficulties above normal will present quite a challenge for players.
Yes, this game is made for fun and satisfaction, but will present a challenge for players on higher difficulties.
It has been uploaded on epicwar =)

Well, now i tested the other bosses in single player, and not even that Warder gave me error, but in multiplayer it happened twice. *confused*
