A futuristic map doesn't need cars and this tile has the basic marks on a road. There is also asphalt without marks. Do not use random variations when you are making a long road with lines and just use the variation with lines.
Imo useful for city/country maps (contemporary, futuristic).
Updated:
- the tileset now replaces the unbuildable Rune Bricks instead of Rough Dirt (you cannot place buildings, unless you change the specific building data from the Object Editor)
- diagonal strips / and \ added
- the tileset no longer shows white edges when mixed with a war3 tile
Tip: Because war3 is not made a custom tileset to fit with a war3 one when mixed, if you are making a sidewalk (like I do with Dalaran White Marble), use the smallest square of Dirt or Rough Dirt/other war3 tile between this road tileset and the pavement/sidewalk. In that way the edges of e.g Dalaran WhiteMarble will be seen and not covered by the Road&Asphalt Tile.

Thanks, I don't expect ppl to be impressed at all, it was something many have asked for. I'll add diagonal \ and / strips (no need of so many just-asphalt variables). I'll see what happens when it's next to a dirt and will update it.

HEWARCRAFT: to use it, you must have the tile Ice Rune Bricks in your map, and then after you import this texture, change its path in the import maneger to:
TerrainArt\Icecrown\Ice_RuneBricks.blp
Restart your editor and you will see this texture instead of Ice Rune Bricks.
Vojife: very hard question .... Go to the forum tutorials and read, thats how it works.

This is a good tile, very useful in city maps.
3.5/5
The lame thing is that the tile covers any other one thats looks good as a sidewalk, fix that and this tile is perfect.

Importing instructions: you can rename it to any tile you prefer to use and set the correct path for the desired tile. All can be seen from the MPQ. The Path usually starts TerrainArt\(DesiredTilsetName)\(TilesetSkin).blp
As for the runes still seen. I suggest you put dirt next to an asphalt and any other. Let me tell you why I can't leave the texture with alpha like that
or will end up like this:
This is a road, has to be straight at both left and right ends and the current upload is what makes it straight. That's why it cannot have this alpha like the nature tiles (grass, dirt, stones).
