Overview
A powerful empire founded by fleeing gangsters from another world. Gangsters who are nurtured, cultured and united under an alluring and commanding mistress, Goh Yuet-yin, the Dragonqueen they all love and serve with persisting zeal.
The empire is widely known and feared for their powers to twist the darkness and bend the earth to their will, along with their powers to shower rains of bullets and flames against their enemies. Apart from that, many brutal natives and dark beasts of the dark world have been brought and tamed to obey the Dragonqueen as well.
With the criminal intellects and mining skills taken from their homeworld, their systems have expanded. Salvaging and scavenging lost materials and parts that showed up mysteriously in Alastorn, their techs have also developed enough.
Under Yuet-yin's reign, the empire has prospered into greatness, and ultimately grown into a frightening foe and a troublesome headache for anyone foolish enough to stand in her way.

Major Characters
Overview The alluring and dominating Dragonqueen of the Obsidian Kongsi, and thus, the supreme ruler of Hakyiu. Well versed in the arts of seduction, combat and magik, not only do Goh Yuet-yin exercise huge amount of influence over the world of Triads, but she is also one of the most feared sorceress and Dominatrix ever. Appearance Miss Goh is gracefully slender, yet she is colossal and tall - even bigger than many men. Her fair and beautiful face is completed by her pair of charming shadowy eyes and a mouth with lips as black as a moonless night. Despite always emitting a strong presence of darkness, her skin is as pale as a pearl. She is further perfected by her curly hair in brunette, reaching down to her shoulder. Most of the time, the Lady is seen showing her sinister and playful smile, and her stylish eyes releases an affectionate gaze, pulling many guys and even gals to her side, like shadowy grips of seduction -- when she is happy and satisfied. She speaks with a soft, maternalistic yet assertive voice so enchanting it could send any of her minions running into their certain death. However, things would change... greatly, if she is angry or in a grave mood -- especially when offended or challenged. She would either be very cold as a freezing Antarctica or engulf in raging flames of darkness, depending on the situation. She may be very cold, sending a glare of coldness, that it could freeze the surroundings and anyone nearby; and speaking in a cold voice, sending ice down the spines of anyone. Or she would be volcano hot, burning in wild flames of shadows and roaring in a harsh, angry voice. Personality
Being the one in charge of the Obsidian Kongsi, the Lady of Darkness is always authoritative and dominant over her underlings, especially towards her beloved husband and slave-assistant Chee Wah. Despite being loving and affectionate most of the time, she can also be sadistic and cruel when it comes to discipline. She is more like a mother and dominatrix to her minions -- being loving and protective on one hand, but if one dares defy her will and oppose her authority, however, she would be fierce and merciless with her punishment. Miss Goh is also sinister when facing her enemy and pursuing her goals... Her charming personality and sexiness, alongside with her caring nature, is what makes her loved in the hearts of her underlings and well-known among the Triads. As the Dragonhead of her Kongsi and Empire, she would need to regularly meet and socialize with figures from all walks of life, thus her outgoing nature. Powers and Abilities Work in Progress
Being an ageless Obsidian Mystic who is naturally talented in the arts of magic and combat, she has developed many skills and abilities throughout her ageless life spanning over seven centuries, while some abilities were acquired immediately upon birth. Being an influential Triad in the criminal world, and as the leader of Obsidian, she naturally would be a great fighter and leader, having mastered the arts of combat and leadership. Due to her being born from an obsidian rock, stroke by seven thunderbolts in a moonless night, she can mold the obsidian rocks, direct the thunders and command the shadows with ease. She has also made herself known in the world of crimes with her terrifying shadow magic, which could level entire cities and consume police battalions. In fact, most of her magics were based on obsidian, thunder, fire and darkness. Even if her magic is disabled in some way, she would still be resistant against obsidian, thunder, fire and darkness. Background and History Origins
Much of her origins are unknown. Legend has it that she is a living Obsidian turned mystical human, born around the early 16th Century. According to a tale, she was born in a dark and moonless night, when seven bolts of thunderstorm hit an obsidian coal. - Oddly enough, the Empire of Hakyiu and the Whampoa Reich use the same calendar.
- This is because the Empire of Hakyiu and the Whampoa Reich share a common legacy back then on Terra, when the Obsidian Kongsi, the Kongsi that dominates the Empire of Hakyiu, used to be a part of the Barisan Revitae together with the proto-Whampoa Malaysians who then formed the basis for the Whampoa Reich later.
- The calender used by both the Empire of Hakyiu and the Whampoa Reich is the Revival Calendar or Anno Revitae. The Year 1 in the Anno Revitae refers to the founding of the First Republic of China in 1912 A.D., after the Wuchang Uprising.
- The Empire of Hakyiu is planned to be featured in The Directive Saga -- the story series that @Directive255 is working on.
