Base Abilitys

Hi people,,

I am currently working on a Pokemon RPG, like the Gameboy Games,,
I want to make every pokemon attack an ability,,
But i am stuck on what base ability to use =S

On attacks like:
Amnesia
Aurora Beam (and alot of other beams)
Ice Punch (and other punches,,)

Can anyone help me?
P.S. i know this isnt the right section to post,
But it is just a little question

I don't totally get your problem...

But:

No target:
-Fan of knives
-Taunt

Target unit:
-Chain lightning
-Forked lightning

Target point:
-Carrion swarm(only point)
-Silence(Aoe)

Ofc. there is an channel ability that can be used for all types( target unit/ground, no target)

If your "pokemon" have a "normal" attack (like a footman) base spell on some aura, if you want passive ability.

Yeah, i know about the point-abilitys, no-point abilitys and target abilitys,,
But what i need is an ability that adds intellegence,, (Amnesia)
An ability that channels and deals damage at an interval (Aurora Beam)

But i think i found an other solution =)

use channel for everything :) can be changed to target unit,target point,both and no target
