Hey everyone, I make Dubstep / Metalcore music. I also make ambient work and I love to experiment in music.

I usually don't listen to "chill step," but I must say, these two helped me relax. I would rather listen to tracks with vocals, but I guess that means I'll be waiting for your unreleased one!

Thanks for giving them a listen man! I'm happy you dug them. Yeah that was the point of those two tracks to not only help myself relax but to help whoever else was listening to relax.

The track with vocals is going to be more fast paced though, trance-y dubstep. With some 50's influence in there (hence the outfits in the music video)

It's not really what I'm fond of. It's not bad music, it just doesn't get me. I feel that there could be more tweaking on some parts.

Sounding pretty good. I quite enjoyed Shadows of Ourselves, but i find the transition at 2:36 quite confusing, a bit too sudden.

I've been thinking about fixing that and making it where the riff continues for a little bit and the strings slowly build up for an additional 15 seconds. But for some reason I just haven't been able to find the right arrangement to make it sound good.

Anyways, you could update your list with new and old songs, not just let the new ones and remove the old ones.

Just looked it up and the string loop pack I used (you can buy loop packs to use in your music) was actually made by the guy who worked on one of those soundtracks, that's badass. Didn't even know my song shared string arrangements with those game's soundtrack and I'm pretty happy about that since from what I've seen of those games they're awesome. No wonder it sounds similar.
Yeah I'm probably gonna update this with some additional songs soon too.

And, I hate loops If I actually use one, I modify it so as to not sound like the original.

I like it that you don't actually stick to one style. That's good for composers as it develops their music mentality.

Yeah I changed my username man. I don't mind loops simply because I don't have all the equipment necessary to convey the sound that I want. (I'd need 9-10 instruments to do that properly lol) I just splice them up and edit to my whim.
