I was just wondering but shouldn't mods be allowed to change the description in the case that the author (very annoyingly and for no reason) lists every category and irrelevent key words. It is a small thing but it would definitely help with searches and stop those annoying models from coming up with every search.

http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/bloodelfpriestess-224065/?prev=c=3&r=20&d=list&page=6 It's even in the name, that this is not human.
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...engineer-237467/?prev=c=3&r=20&d=list&page=10 Gnomish, not Human, if I wanted a Gnome I'd have probably looked in the Dwarf category.

Now, I know it may seem a little nit-picky (couldn't be bothered finding the better examples) but it's not just for my sake (as annoying as it was to get the same thing for every search) but to stop the few occasions where someone requests a model that is in the section but they might not have found due to the numbing of category searches by authors who list their models under every field.

Im wondering about the opposite: What if there are models hidden deep inside the database because they have only 1 obscure keyword and if you dont know it exactly wont ever get it.

There are some rejected need fix models that you can still access if you know the tricks.

the probleme is people don't even respect category.Some modeler just check every category to increase visibility of their model.

Moderators can change the description, but they cannot change the original model title (the one INSIDE the model file). The model uploader must change that part. It's basically the same as people uploading "Just Another Wc3 Map", they failed to change the title.

It's not the probleme he's talking about...
Beside it shouldn't display the internal name which isn't displayed by anything nor the game nor the editor the only reason you need to change internal name is just for this site.Why can't you just ignore internal name and use the file name instead?

I'm talking about when people upload the model, they can put categories and key words. It's annoying when model makers put all the categories in so that they defeat the purpose of categories. Look at the examples I linked and you'll see.

To rectify this I'm guessing you would manually have to go through all the models in the database and switch categories. Then subsequently enforce proper categorization for new uploads as part of the standard model moderation

i.e. massive grunt work
