Hello, I am currently working on a RPG map and I am in need for a few simple model edits.

So at the moment I am looking after some one who can edit Blizzard models so that they are easy to use for me.

I list down the models/edits I am interested in having and what I want to be edited:

1. Seaweed (Doodads\Ruins\Water\Seaweed0\Seaweed0)
- All the variations should have a death animation. Additional bonus if you could make their stand animation unanimated (so that they don't move).

2. River Rushes (Doodads\LordaeronSummer\Plants\RiverRushes\RiverRushes)
- Death animation for variations 0 and 2.

3. Fish (Doodads\Ashenvale\Water\Fish\Fish)
- Death animation.

4. Fish Green (Doodads\Ruins\Water\FishTropical\FishTropical)
- Death animation.

5. Viny Plant (Doodads\Ruins\Plants\VinyPlant\VinyPlant)
- Death animation for variations 0 and 2.

6. Vines Thorny (Doodads\Northrend\Plants\North_Thorns\North_Thorns)
- Death animation for variations 2 and 4.

7. Outland Plants (Doodads\Outland\Plants\Outland_Plant\Outland_Plant)
- Death animation for variations 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7.

8. Rubble (Doodads\Outland\Rocks\RubbleRock\RubbleRock)
- Death animation for variations 2, 4 and 5.

9. Rocks (Doodads\Underground\Rocks\UndergoundRock\UndergoundRock)
- Death animation for all variations.

10. Crystal (Doodads\Icecrown\Rocks\Icecrown_Crystal\Icecrown_Crystal)
- Death animation for all variations.

11. Glacier (Doodads\Icecrown\Rocks\Glacier\Glacier)
- Death animation for variations 0, 4, 5 and 9.

12. Coral (Doodads\Ruins\Water\Coral\Coral)
- Split the variations 7, 8 and 9 into different variations (a new model).
(I want to be able to handle the different colored parts separately so separate the light blue structure from the white structure (Var. 7), separate the orange and white structure from each other also separate the red star-shaped small structure from the others (Var. 8), separate the orange structure from the star-shaped structure. (Var. 9).
- Don't lose any structures, instead make the stand alone.
- Death animation for all the separated stand-alone variations.

13. Potted Plant (Doodads\Cityscape\Plants\PottedPlant\PottedPlant)
- Remove the pot.
- Separate the flower stems and blossoms from the leaves.
- Death animation for the stand alone leaves and stems/blossoms.

14. Mushrooms (Doodads\Ruins\Plants\Ruins_Shroom\Ruins_Shroom)
- Death animation for all variations.

15. Mushrooms (Doodads\Ashenvale\Plants\AshenShrooms\AshenShrooms)
- Death animation for all variations.

16. Shells (Doodads\Ruins\Props\Ruins_Shells\Ruins_Shells)
- Death animation for variation 0, 1, 2 and 5.

17. Flowers (Doodads\Ruins\Plants\Ruins_Flower\Ruins_Flower)
- Death animation for all variations.

18. Cattail (Doodads\Ruins\Plants\Ruins_Rush\Ruins_Rush)
- Separate the stems from the bush. Also remove the two bods on the stems. (Make them both stand-alone.)
- Death animation for both stand-alone variations.

19. Corn (Doodads\LordaeronSummer\Plants\Corn\Corn)
- Death animation.

20. Grain Scorched (Doodads\LordaeronSummer\Plants\CornWheatScorched\CornWheatScorched)
- Remove the little grass layers.
- Death animation.

21. Wheat (Doodads\LordaeronSummer\Plants\Wheat\Wheat)
- Death animation.

22. Entangling Roots (Abilities\Spells\NightElf\EntanglingRoots\EntanglingRootsTarget.mdl)
- Remove the green sparkle effect.
- Make the stand animation unanimated.

23. Entangle Gold Mine (Abilities\Spells\NightElf\EntangleMine\Roots.mdl)
- Make the stand animation unanimated.
- Optional (Separate the roots from each other and make then different variations.)


Death animations does not need to be fancy-looking. I am satisfied as long as they are functional (makes the model disappear). The animation can be just to shrink the model and make it disappear or just to "remove " the visible parts.

Also I have a question: some of the models I listed above have only "Stand" animation. When they are ordered to perform "Death" animation I still can make them appear by ordering them to perform "Stand" animation, right?

I'll try to give it a shot, it doesn't seem overcomplicated.

I will edit this post and add the files gradually.

I didn't test them ingame, please report any problems / oversights, or just things that you'd like to change.

- Here is your sea weed, stand animation movements have been deleted.
- River rushes done. I noticed that for some reason they are unshaded, meaning that light don't affect them ingame, so I added a "shaded" version if you ever need it.
- Fish done. Made two variations, one with a water squirt on death, and one without.
- Exact same thing for fish tropical.
- Viny plants OK. Strangely enough they had death animations, but unfinished ones.
- Vines thorns done.
- Outland plants done.
- Rubble rock done.
- Underground rock...So many variations... *dies* Done!
- Ruins shell and ashen shrooms done.
- Ruins shroom and entangling roots done.

You didn't mention death animation for sea weed, it has one?

Also I tried to avoid extra work but on the rocks i had no other option but to go for all variations, sorry for that.

Okay so checked them I can't seem to import them correctly. They won't show up, any idea why?

If you don't mind working, I have one more request, this time if you could make a model from scratch.

I need a mode, (no animation needed), that is invisible (no textures, entirely transparent) and shaped like a sphere. I need this for gameplay, where player can target different objects.

I am using destructibles as the target hitbox for the objects, yet I can't hide destructibles without making player unable to target them. So I need a model (sphere) that is naturally transparent. (Close to invisible platform)

EDIT: Actually never mind, invisible platfrom seems to perform just fine.

Added ruins shell and ashen shrooms to my first post.

Which health bars you'd like to hide? I think it might be doable messing around with the model's overhead ref point, I could run some tests if you need.

That would be nice, but is that possible? I mean the health bar that shows up above the unit/destructible when they are being targeted/attacked.

I think that if you change the model's internal ref point, like very high or very low under the ground, it may be actually not visible ingame, but don't quote me on that.

Edit : Nevermind, I found my answer in a old thread. This only works for units, but apparently, setting the Art - Selection scale to -1 makes the health bar completely invisible.

The new seaweed model is bugged, the 2D part is floating randomly around. It's not sticked to the model anymore. The height is now good, if you could also (in addition to fixing the 2D part) remove the horizontal leafy parts from top of the models.

So far wonderful job, I am making nice progress with the system and environment.

Lol silly me, forgot to adjust the bones. Hopefully it should work fine now.

Edit : the horizontal part has been removed as well.

Edit 2: Added Ruins shroom and entangling roots to my first post
