Gif file bug

I made a new image in Gimp 2.6 as a gif file and I was gonna use it as my new avatar. When I uploaded it, however, the file is just a single image...
My last avatar was also made in gif, and it worked fine.
Anyone knows why it does not work? It was originally 250x250 pixels, but when I changed it to 100x100, it still did not work, and the file size was only about 23 kb.

Wrong forum.

It is global issue on thw, sometimes .gif works sometimes not. same goes for transparency, it doesn't work for some reason (white part on my avatar). All I can say try to upload your .gif on web and use its link.

yeah vB fails at resizing pictures

just resize them in your image editor then upload them

I did, but it did not work.
But it did not resize the boarders.
Hm, guess I will have to start over.

EDIT: Found a way to copy over the files.
My avatar now works.
