Andrey Molchanov aka MAN-biker uploaded latest parts of long-play WarCraft Adventures: Lord of The Clans beta as a Christmas gift to his subscribers. It was uploaded on Jan 21, 2015 - Jan 23, 2015.

The long-play has already been finished, excluding cutscenes that were not present in the beta version. He also included some missing cut scenes in the last video.

WarCraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans was a black comedy point-and-click adventure computer game under development by Blizzard Entertainment that was set in the WarCraft universe, and cancelled before its release.

More information regarding the cancelled Blizzard game can be found here.

There are some really good point and click games like Day of the Tentacle, Legend of Kyrandia, Monkey Island and others. This one (WarCraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans) would have been a great addon for the franchise, methinks.

It seemed rather inconsistent, especially with lore (although that has always been inconsistent since Archimonde was demoted). It raises questions like what happened to Ghrom Hellscream's pet dragon. How did Thrall even meet Ghrom? What was all that nonsense of the Dragons joining the orcs (as it was never used)? What happened to the Captain?

Judging by how empty the global map was I would say the game was only about 60% finished as far as actual areas go. What was the final section was likely a run up to the final section. Maybe an expansion was planned for the rest?

You could also see where stuff started to be redone. Specifically at the start it was not very violent (although it made reference to violence) but at the end it was showing severed dragon heads and things. This shows a lack of consistency (designed as family friendly but changing to more adult target). It would explain the cancelation as clearly it lacked a consistent direction where to go.

The only thing it answered was Gazlowe. No wonder he made it to Heroes of the Storm despite being what would appear as "a generic goblin".

More like how did Grom even get out of Draenor as we saw that in Beyond the Dark Portal the rift closed and the heroes ultimately crashed to their deaths. Well speculation is likely to create hypotheses that diverge from the story that continued like: Draenor not being fully destroyed but rather just mutilated (where were the Draenei in WCII btw?; they were mentioned in the manual from what I remember).
The game in this topic could have been made into something to fit the WarCraft line even if things had to be changed. But it is so highly unlikely for it to even be remembered by Blizzard. It's sad to start something and not to finish especially if it qualifies as meaningful art. Blizzard had a second strike with StarCraft: Ghost.

Blizzard had a second strike with StarCraft: Ghost.
Except unlike this game, a lot of SC2 Ghost assets were recycled for StarCraft II. Everything from characters to Models. A lot of the assets for Titan are being recycled with their new FPS game in similar fashion. The difference with this game was that only some characters were recycled, all the art, the lore etc was thrown away.

It's not SC2 Ghost, it's SC: Ghost.

You made a post just to correct an extra 2? Do not forget to correct people who incorrectly say "WarCraft" instead of "Warcraft" as Warcraft is not StarCraft.

What is interesting is that Blizzard apparently used their own adventure game engine for it. This is in contrast with most adventure games of the time which generally used SCUM and related products from Lucas Arts. This means that it was also a massive waste of coding resources as well.

Read this book:
http://www.wowwiki.com/Rise_of_the_Horde

Grom stayed behind during the first attack on the human world.
When Nerz'uhl launched his invasion of the human world as their homeland was beginning to become a wasteland, Grom and other orchish clans followed.

The draenei was thought as being extinct during the Warcraft 2 time, as the orcs had sacked the capital of the draenei and they had gone into hiding.

Okay i thought this game was fine, but after seein Thrall just defeating Deathwing made this game suck...
It was obvious that sections were cut out or missing or even just inconsistent. For example, Deathwing was meant to have mighty armour according to the conversation you had however his actual art only had his spine covered with armor. Additionally the head art looked very place holder and the entire violence part of it seemed out of place in what started out a not-so-violent game. Deathwing was also described as pretty out of shape so I would not be surprised if there was meant to be some other section where you had to do some quest involving Deathwing (helping him? would probably have started with a conversation after he failed to kill you due to you clamping his one pipe while escaping) that was removed or never made.

There was also the case of the captain and Ghrom which clearly were meant to be the final area of the game. The orc "traitors" were also not consistently mentioned enough until the end. Ghrom was also meant to be out somewhere at the start, his capture was entirely out of place. Singe was also not explained and clearly was meant to do more after you found Ghrom.

Each of the 4 final sections (deathknight, deathwing, The dragon (whatever her name is) and the prison break were highly inconsistent and appeared to be linked with magic (items suddenly appearing in inventory, plot points made yet never used etc). I would not be surprised if they were proprotypes of sort to test out mechanics as well as overall directions the game could take. It would certainly explain why there was nothing linking them as they were created but never really joined together. The entire "kill deathwing" segment could have been added at the last minute (would explain the placeholder like art and the seemingly out of place violence as well is inconsistent description of him) to try and join together what little they did have.

You must also remember it was made before all the rubbish WoW lore.

In any case, if that was the Beta there is really no wonder that it was cancelled. The start was a pretty reasonable adventure game but from the half way point there was no plotline consistency and out of place stuff just seemed to happen. After realising they would have to re-make at least half the game or more, they probably decided enough was enough and cancelled the project.

The game is beta, animated cut scenes were not included in that stage. Deathwing probably had a death cut scene, after all. The death was fairly simple and logical unlike stupid WoW, Thrall wrangled some stuff onto his fire-breathing organ, which had lead him to burn himself inside-out. When Deathwing started to blow fire out of his mouth, the organ being blocked by the object - exploded and the fire-gas burned the dragon inside. Then the cut scene occurred.

Okay i thought this game was fine, but after seein Thrall just defeating Deathwing made this game suck...

Uhm, what was he supposed to do? Get over it. The game is good as it is.

He was coughing and then it suddenly cut out. Maybe he was meant to explode, however seeing as that would make the game far too simple (you were literally in that area for only a few seconds) it was more likely originally the open sequence for a section involving him which might or might not have ultimately led to his death (he was meant to be unhealthy if you paid attention, smoking some sort of troll head water pipe thing and eating far too much, not the huge threat he was described as).

However it was the inconsistencies involved that made no sense. For example he was described as being clad in durable armor however all he was shown in was wearing some sort of spinal armor on his back. It also did not match the rest of the story since he listened to the one dragon that tried to kill him yet not the other. The severed head art work also looked suspiciously place holder which is why I think that sequence was either rushed (to hide cut content) or was part of an on-going revision.

The main nonsense comes from Ghrom however. You start out looking for him (without a reason why), you find where he lives (his pet dragon tells you he went out for a bit) and then all of a sudden you are the War Chief and you know he is being held in the same place you were due to the same people that caught you etc. You then ally with the dragons who proceed to do nothing else in the final sequence. Finally you go to kill the captain but then do not with it ending. Inconsistencies all the way.

Most noticeable, as I said, was that from a game where you killed no one (you just spat on them when they were KOed even though you had a dagger) suddenly you are killing stuff. That shows a major change in direction midway which would explain all the inconsistencies. It also supports that Deathwing was not meant to be killed in the way it is implied in the Beta, and that the final sequence was also rushed.

As such I would say only the first half of the game was the actual final game. The rest was sort of a mish-mash of WIPs, axed or tested content. This would also explain its cancelation since it would have taken another 50-100% more resources to finish and would have been up against some huge name adventure games from people with experience (Monkey Island 3 was just one of them).

People here are probably grateful of the cancelation, as it would have meant more resources devoted to other Blizzard products which went on to be huge successes.

It is interesting to note that the first half does fit WC3 lore to some degree. It clearly was going to explain how Thrall and Ghrom met each other, their back stories etc, and also introduce many characters which still exist. However as it progressed it became less and less "cannon" which also emphasises what I said above, that the end was still very much a WIP without anything ever being finalized. Some of the basic stuff should still exist even in the current lore (if WoW did not overwrite it with nonsense) since we all know that Thrall and Ghrom migrate at the start of WC3 and that Thral and Ghrom were close friends.

I do apologise if it is Grom and not Ghrom, fantasy names are too confusing.

The book nor anything released before Wc Adventures was not cannon in the terms of cannon War Adventures. I don't know about any armored deathwing. Any proof, that he was supposed to be armored?

Also note that this is a black comedy type game.

Blizzard did not create War Adventures, it was being developed by additional sub-groups from Russia and probably USA companies that do drawing, animation and animating. The lore/plot was the only thing created by Blizzard.

At 11:50 of part 12.
"His hatred for me has left his heart as impenetrable as the adamantine plates he wears."

When you get to him he does not seem to be wearing any such plates except very few on his head and a bit of his back (more decorative than protective I would imagine). After a saying like that one was expecting him to be heavily armoured, which was not the case at all. This points to that segment having been developed separately from the death wing segment or was developed early on before they finalized the Deathwing character art. Equally well it could have been developed later and they were intending to revise the Deathwing part to make it more fierce.

Also note that this is a black comedy type game.
Was it always meant to be so? As I said, the start was a lot less violent than the end. Where as he could have killed the guard right at the start all you could do to him was spit on him. The violence only picked up at the ending segments, which also happen to be the least consistent parts of the game.

Blizzard did not create War Adventures, it was being developed by additional sub-groups from Russia and probably USA companies that do drawing, animation and animating. The lore/plot was the only thing created by Blizzard.
With adventure games the writers pretty much make the game. There was a number of issues with the game development process causing them to admit having to revise it a lot. They said it would have taken another 1-2 years of development to get it to a releasable quality during which time Lucas Arts was scheduled to release what have become some of the most famous adventure games of all time. For that reason they canceled.

Again this points towards what was possibly in the beta was still very much a WIP. The fact they were going to take another year (with over 100 artists working on the project for most of that time) one can imagine that a lot of segements (most likely the entire ending sequence, but possibly the other way round) were planned to be revised.

You want me to read a book in which Grom makes a brief appearance? I don't find it necessary for books to explain things that were or are not in the games.
Other than that if you played Beyond the Dark Portal you'd know that all Horde heroes and Alliance ones clashed together and the portal was never to be opened again while the world was in total conflict with itself thus collapsing and making life unbearable soon after.
You made a post just to correct an extra 2? Do not forget to correct people who incorrectly say "WarCraft" instead of "Warcraft" as Warcraft is not StarCraft.
Yeah but if you look at the logo you get WarCraft.

Actually you both are incorrect. Blizzard calls it "Warcraft" and "StarCraft".

Here are some examples...
Are you ready for the biggest Blizzard gaming event of the year? The world’s best World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, and Hearthstone players have battled their way along the Road to BlizzCon and will soon clash at the final destination—the World Championships at BlizzCon from November 7.

draw your deck, and get ready for Hearthstone - the fast paced strategy card game that's easy to learn and massively fun. Start a free game on Battle.net and play your cards to sling spells, summon creatures, and command the heroes of Warcraft in duels of epic strategy.

With Warlords of Draenor, Classic Warcraft races sport higher detail, updated animations, and new visuals that reflect the soul of their original models: teeth, bones, beards, ’hawks, and all. Look ready for action. Be ready for action.

Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne adds a host of new features to the game, including four new campaigns that take you across the frozen continent of Northrend. Explore new maps and master new units such as the Troll Bat Riders, the Blood Elf Spell Breakers, and the destructive Mountain Giants.

The StarCraft: Brood War expansion adds a host of new features to the game, including three new campaigns set in the aftermath of the original StarCraft. Explore new worlds, fight your way through dangerous missions, and command powerful new units for each race.

Blizzard never calls Warcraft "WarCraft". They also never call StarCraft "Starcraft". Maybe they used to, however not anymore.

The logo is far more older than "today's" Blizzard. The new guys could just be highly wrapping it up, nevertheless- The Official logo writes like this "WarCraft".

Other than that, Blizzard quotes are not considered to be 100% correct, since they were written according to article script. Thus, some details were missed out or wrongly written.

And since the logo is featured in all games, even the books. It is cannon and considered as "WarCraft". It also is easier to write without caps, that proves my point.

While they could be writing without caps, it officially is considered within all logos.
