Users may suggest clans and discuss about these clans, but don't stray away and talk about one clan in particular for much of the discussion - you can create a new thread for that. We encourage you check some of these out and maybe refer them to Hive!

Note that some of these are non-English and private clans.

I really wish I could play maps on B.Net, I can only play single player (yet I can log onto B.net just fine)
I'd host a map development clan, it's good that clans are still active and bustling this far into this game's lifespan

OK -- thanks. I just want to emphasize that without short descriptions, it's difficult to use this list. Did you compile it manually? Maybe we could make a small database instead that would allow us to search through the list and find new clans via clawer? Just a thought.

Sure -- simply hypothetical, I haven't tried it myself.

Crawlers are generally python scripts used to scrap data from webpages. A crawler could be used to visit this page and others like it using an algorithm to collect clan titles that meet your activity requirements.

Unfortunately, since the clans do not provide much more data other than the meta, we cannot know what they all do. Many of them are probably friends or do ladder -- which is sorta why clans were made in the first place.

This indeed would cut your manual work down. When I have more time, I might be able to script you a simple crawler if you're interested.

The custom map strategy scene is popular among clans for some reason. They all have websites.

Yeah, totally, could you give me 2 weeks to develop the script? It's not that I need the full 2 weeks -- but I'm in the last few weeks of the semester and am quite bogged down as it is.

I think you could add another clan on Europe clan list. KOSD - Knights of Sereg D`or. They play Strategy maps (and few main creators are there, like Panther-Anthro - He's the leader) and roleplaying maps like AoC.

I'm not in their clan but I play with them. I'm in UoS. We also have a website ^^

Clan THW? Yeah, we get a steady few who log in whatever day. There's a funmap evening event on Saturday that's not officially for the clan, but clan members would participate.

If you want to join, you can ask me, any of the shamans, as well as Apheraz_Lucent or worst-noob-ever as they have recruiting power if they're online. I won't be online until over three hours though.

Lords of Europe (wc3) - Renaissance

This is an active group of players for Lords of Europe map.
They host the map everyday so feel free to join but some may require some experience in the game as they mostly play team games.

Garena Clan: Sunny Trolls clan id: 24743, literally the only place i know of where you can find someone to play Jungle Trolls Reborn with, even thought you cant play wc3 on garena anymore, the garena messenger and clan system is very useful, they play using entbot and eurobattle/ battlenet.

I just stumbled across this thread and said why not add my clan since i'm very very bored.

Garena removed support in many countries last year. Dunno if they're conpletely gone on the WC3 side anymore.

Nope garena did that way back in 2014, when they decided that warcraft 3 isn't so important to them since the DotA community switched over to Dota 2, and btw i did not expect such a quick reply on this thread xD
