Intriguing, gnome building... the parts with oversized small texture need some features to hide the bad texture. Maybe crystals or wires?

Right on that one. They also have clocks and other stuff, so you could add some stuff using Goblin Tinker model.

i suggest you make a particle and light emitter at the base, and give it a stand work animation with some sort of effects. nothing flash, it just needs something small.
