ah, i like this one =D

but, i didn´t understand the light, sometimes is red, sometimes is green. and the size, reduce the emission rate to 2, looks more realistic .

Flares are not shots, they are flares.

Shots are only in the animation called Attack.

The name is ONLY a name
In the map Stars, they are called AA Turret because they are made to hit small ships (shuttles in Stars, same things like fighters ).

Why the heck do you keep using a square as a base? This model would be good if the base was something good. Like, a tube with the bottom scaled along the x and y axis.
