STORY
A powerful sorcerer known as The Oracle, has offer you a mission to protect an icy artifact found in the middle of Icecrown Glacier, guarded by a mysterious force. Now, they're coming to destroy the artifact, preventing it from being taken. If you success, The Oracle will fulfill your wishes and reveal your future.

But the story isn't that simple...

FEATURES AND GAMEPLAY
- Based on Dota 2's Wraith-Night.
- This map's just like any typical Hero Defense maps: you chose a hero, set up a team and defend your main base from waves of enemies, kill them and get gold,
power up your Hero to stand against them.
- I love the Wraith-Night mode. So I decided to convert it to Warcraft III version.
- Total 45 heroes, over 100 custom spells, 45 types of creeps, and over 40 buildable items.
- Gold is earned from collecting gold coins, which will droped from enemies when killed. Gold coin's value is shared equally to all players.
- Your Hero's health and mana will be refilled at the end of a round.
- Towers will respawn every time a new round starts.
- The final round is based on World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King cinematic.

AI MODE
- The Leader is set to be Player 2's hero by default, by using magical circle, The Leader can decide the action of AI, order them to follow, patrol a target point or guard the Artifact.
- If a Leader dies, a new Leader will be chosen randomly from other user's Hero.
- Any player can claim the right to be The Leader. Just using your Magical Circle.
- To balance the stupidity of AI, items will be given to them and ignore their gold.

~ Nice map, I and my friends love it very much. I think you should add more items. i played and sometimes didn't know what to build next for Intel or Str hero :(

i thing you should buy Lion's Ring before ware 1, and up to Lion's Heart Stone on Lv2 (or lvl 3)
Str Hero:
next, buy mask of death => Helm of vampiric (i choose mask of berserker)
4 slot left:
1 armor item : Arcanite Shield
1 damage items: Red Breeding of Doombringer
1 attackspeed : Moon Glaive
1 cleave attack : Cleaving Axe
if you don't need mana, you can sell Lion's Heart Stone to buy Thunder Guard)


plz add more heros and, more items, and more wave or more exp on creep (kill boss in lvl 14 ;;A;;)

Int Hero:
Helm of vampiric (i choose mask of berserker)
1 Int item: Staff of spellcaster
1 damage items: Fire and Ice
1 armor item: Thunder Guard
1 Movespeed: Engine Booster
1 Save Life item: Cloak Of Shadows

if you don't need mana and movespped, you can sell Engine Booster to buy Red Breeding)

begin to weak, but stronger over time

About abilities's damage stronger with hero's level. I can't make it happen! Because heroes have their different roles: tanker, damage dealer or caster, and the main source of spell damage in the game will mostly come from the casters! These casters already have "Staff of Spellcaster" (with 2 lvls) to build, their spell damage'll be stronger with their intelligence. So this idea's unnecessary.

But well, I can take some of these ideas! Thank you btw!

In my opinions, I think this map should have some additions likes:

Heroes:
Heroes skills: there are something wrong here ? Some skills not work correctly (ex: skill 1 of Nature, Healing 400HP + 20 Regen HP in short time, when I buff for my teammate, it healing nothing but + 20 regen in short time)

Some skills make me very confuse that if it's useful or not like skill + 2/6/8/12 armor ?? @.@ That skill will help in which situation?
Or like + 15/20/25/30 str and +2/4/6/8 armor ==> ok, will it help in late game? @@!
Dame of skills is not equals between heroes, I mean there
are some heroes has very low dame skills and helpless in game :<
+ SHould have some summons skills (of course after summoned, the creeps has some skill itself nor it will be very useless)
+ More aura skills like dame/atk speed/regen/etc

Items:
+ Item to burn mana
+ Item has ability to protect hero from spell/magic dame
+ Book store (when I full of item, I have no idea what should do with the rest of money, and if you have a book store selling str/agi/int/lvl for gamers, they will love it)
+ Item regen HP by % of str or have more regen than items this version
+ Item add HP more than items this version (between 1k-3k HP is better)
+ Item buff HP more than items this version
==> when you're in the middle of game, you have to face to the boss and those items that buff, add HP or regen this version is too little! boss so imba when we have to face to them with the ability of items like nothing.

Modes:
+ Mode to close/open gate (very necessary coz sometime people just want to play with their friends and they don't have enough 5 to defend all gates)
+ Mode random hero, I really don't want to waste 500 gold to pick hero -_-
+ Mode easy - normal - hard. really want to challenge myself with this map :D

Etc:
+ Add events occurs randomly in the game ?
+ Add some mini games
+ Really expect some secret item will appear after destroy the tower of the Guardian
+ More waves
+ Fix the gold dropped after kill creeps, especially in early game - wave 1, some unlucky time, 1 gate dropped not enough to buy items o_O


Well, that is my personal opinion. Hope it helps you create a new more interesting map =)

Sorry for all the problems. Because I created and developed this map all by myself, I don't have much time to check all of things. So I'm pleased to read your comments about these problems. I'll try to fix them as soon as I can, as well as remake old abilities. Thank you for new ideas =).

Uhmm....i don't know if it is a bug but every time my playmates pickup money from the ground, it goes directly to the host money and not to them. Also we don't get money form killing some mobs and others give when killed.

Would be nice if I have some time to read the items tool tips.The creeps spawns too fast,maybe a way to enable/disable waves temporarily?

Enable/Disable waves can be very annoying in multiplay. If you want to know more about items, just start a single game, use god-mode cheat (whosyourdaddy) and let your hero defenses the base while you're learning about items. You can use your Magical Circle to store more item. Good luck :grin:

- I had played this map more than 10 times with my friend and still cannot win :((.

Wave of troll and dino is a bit hard T___T". Dont know how to enough damage to kill dino before it always attack lich king. And i found a bug that ward of rege form heart stone can rege hp for lich king. Perhaps because it was counted as a "unit".

Also wave of naga and bear dont drop gold coin. Just tell you about this. Because i dont know is a bug or you want it.

EDIT: - Ah, one more thing. Time of day in your map still 3:00 and do not running. But a hero Naisha - The Watchers ( Lunar ) have a passive Moon Blessing and Eclipse. Eclipse is creates an artificial night. But.. it always night and her alaways active passive. So, i mean, it is a useless skill ( Eclipse ) and OP skill ( Moon Blessing ).

-Yea...that trolls round is difficult to me too. I have decreased their stats by 50%. Hope we can defeat them now.
-The regen ward from Lion's Heart Stone can heal building, it's not a bug. I updated its description. (But if The Lich King you say about is the Lich King when he fights us, I will take a look and fix it).
-Some creep-type cannot drop gold coin (Orge Grunt, Snap Dragon, Bears...) 'cause there're some problem in my trigger.
-And sorry about the day/night circle. Actually I forgot to delete the trigger which turn it off...so that happened.

All things above have been fixed. Thank you for telling me all the problems.

Your Plate of War recipe doesn't work. I have all the items it says I need and it isn't making the plate.

A few recipes are missing an ingredient in their descriptions, namely the Lion's Heart Stone (though it's easy enough to figure out), and Igniter's Guard (I also figured it out but it still needs to be said).

The heroes are decent, but there isn't much to the terrain to speak of. Biggest issue is that the bottom left lane splits in two and causes mobs to go down both paths. It really makes it annoying especially when playing with less than 4 people. That's also the lane where mob's ignore the towers the most and go straight for the base. Aside from that there's a lot of wasted space on the map.

This map is based on Wraith-night, a custom map of Dota 2. Originally, it has 4 ways guarded by 4 tower, and a path at the south go to center tower. Also, some creep types are made to focus hero and ignore the towers. These are the features I want to keep. But you can easily win the game with 3 heroes, just stick together, don't split up.

The watsed space I made is just for a good looking island...haha! But let's see if I could make some uses of it.

About the recipes, can you show me some screenshots? I just check them and I don't see any problem which you said =)

How can I move on to the next round? I'm always stuck at Round 1. No more mobs after the Gnolls. Please help.

Hi first short feedback.

Improve the AI, in my case all computer controlled heroes just followed me to the tower i moved instead of defend at one of the 4. I defend on the top left, they followed, i ran to the top right, they followed.... Thats stupid. Normal players wouldn't do that :)

As my description at page 1, the AI will patrol around you. 'Cause this map isn't like other maps (each hero guards one way and they get their own bounty). This is about teamwork, you must protect your team, especially on later rounds or in hard mode, you must ignore towers and stick together to survive. That's why I coded it to share all collected gold coin equally to all player. Thank you and hope you understand :)

Well, I watched the replay and here's my opinion:
-You shouldn't stay at one tower all the time, you'll only get a small amount of the exp from those creep, so it's hard to level up. And I saw you leave a lot of gold coin at other towers. Just move quickly between them to get the creeps and get gold fast.
-The goal of the most hero defense map is to protect the main stucture. You lost the game because the Icy Artifact was destroyed by those spider (in my map, if all heroes are dead at the same time, you'll also lose the game).
-You'll easily feel bored with any map if you play alone (I felt the same too). Just get your friends and try to beat the final boss in normal mode or harder. Hope you'll find it interesting someday.

.....I make the map but I've never gotten to the 10th round with my friends,...it's sad :wink:

Ah I forgot, a round will end when all enemies of that round are dead. For example in round 2, if you killed all zombies and a volatile zombie left an acid cloud, you'll have to wait until the cloud disappear for the round to end.

It's cool! And here's my opinion to how to improve the gameplay:

I think it should be more round, at least 20(That's mad tho), and the Oracle's Tower could have longer health. I hate the way how the AI keep following me.

The ending is quite disappointing... I wasted my time to protect the Lich King, duhh

-I just focus on create new heo and forget about new round...well, I'll work on it.
-Because this map is based on Wraith-Night so I kept its original ending.
-About the AI, I'll create a way for player to control their action. But it'll take time.
