Defend the Worldtree till it fully regenerate. At the beginning the Worldtree get every 10 seconds 200 HP. If you win an arenabattle the regenerationrate increase. If an enemie reach the water, the Worldtree loose HP. Before the game starts the host (first player in color order) choose the difficulty of the game, the live of the Worldtree and the number of ways.

Upgrade:
You can upgrade some items, if you have enough gold you can click on the item and it will upgrade. The cost for an upgrade stands in the tooltip.

Golden Items:

If you kill 100, 200, [...], 1000 enemy units you will get a "Holy Sphere". With this sphere you can upgrade 5 items to golden items. The sphere double the effect of the upgraded item. If you got all 5 items and bring them together you will get the "Equipment of God", which is one of the best items in the game. (if you are the first one who get the equipment of god you will also get 3 additional heropoints!)

To make the game a little more varied there are 7 random events.
The host can start an event with the event ability in his circle of power.
  1. Ghost-Event
    A “ghost” spawn for the besiegers. Kill him to win this event. Ghost has 20.000 hitpoints, movementspeed of 100 and 20 armor.
    Loose: If he reachs the Worldtree he will loose 10.000 Hitpoints.
    Win: If you kill him, your income increased by 10.
  2. Firerain-Event
    Two “terrorlords” cast firerain in a special area. Run and don't die to win this event. If you run in the fire around the area you die too.
    Eventtime: 60 seconds.
    Loose: If all of your team die, your income decreased by 10.
    Win: If you survive, your income bincreased by 5.
  3. Demon-Event
    Four “acolyte” want to resurrect “archimond”.
    Eventtime: 90 seconds.
    Loose: If you all die or the timer expires, your income decrease by 20 and the regenerationrate of the Worldtree by 200.
    Win: If you kill all acolytes, your income increased by 10.
  4. Vandal-Event
    The besiegers spawn a lot of “vandals”. Kill them all and win this event.
    Eventtime: 60 seconds.
    Loose: Per Vandal the Worldtree loose 3.000 hitpoints.
    Win: If you kill all vandals, your income increased by 5.
  5. Survival-Event
    A “ghost” want to heal the Worldtree. Protect him to win this event.
    Eventtime: 60 seconds.
    Loose: If the ghost dies your income decrease by 10.
    Win: If the ghost doesn’t die the regenerationrate of the worldtree increase by 100.
  6. Treant-Event
    “Rotten treats” spawn and want to enter the Herocamp. Use your spell "Clean Treant" to kill them.
    Eventtime: 60 seconds.
    Loose:If someone enters the herocamp your income decreased by 5. (Max. decrease to 10)
    Win: When the timer expires the regenerationrate of the Worldtree increased by 50.
  7. Duel-Event
    Fight against your friends. (not available in solomode)
    Eventtime: 120-240 seconds. (depend on the level of the wave)
    Loose: -/-
    Win: Last player who survive gets 3 heropoints.
  8. Hero Image
    Go in the “Circle of Power” in the base to start this event.
    You fight against a copy of your hero. The copy has 3x of your stats and only get 25% of spell damage.
    Loose: If you die you cant do it again.
    Win: +50 to all stats and 2 heropoints.
  9. Bonus-Event
    You have 30 seconds to kill as much units as you can. For each unit you will get 1 gold. This event can only randomly start.

    HINT:
    Dont start an event when you play alone. The events are very hard. Only try to play when you are three or more player.




If you play solomode you can pick the "ASON"-Mode. In this mode you can pick from 6 different heroes. There are 3 range and 3 melee heroes.
All heroes can buy every skills.

The game is given quite a lot of varieties of game option to test with from easy to hard, and the life points of the world tree to defend, I got fascinated when you use a lot of heroes from a specific class to make it as a recipe for a different model look.

The spell section is very useful, and somehow this also gives you hybrid abilities if you want the spell of your chosen class, that means you can use the passive skill of an Archmage, then get strong abilities of a Tinker. Which is very competitive and gives a strong impact on the replay value.

The terrain, not so much to review about it, since most of the region resides for a mini-game, the overall wide lane for the enemy wave to move into, and lastly, its still given a nice view.

In total, the map is set for an approval.

This is not a acceptable excuse for typing a bad description with irrelevant bb codes. I see "xxxxxx" written somewhere and the screenshots do not load. However, I see that your description at least provides some good info about your map so I can gladly say you escaped a certain map rejection. Despite this, it would be a good idea to fix your bb codes as soon as you can. Try reading some tutorials about bb codes and good map descriptions.

Hello katho,

This map actually has quite a lot of potential, I'm impressed! I just got done playing it with a friend; unfortunately I don't have the replay due to a glitch at the very end (I'll get into that later though).

First things first, I played as a Paladin, and I noticed that some of the skills have hotkeys, but none of the hotkeys were visibly shown. I had to experiment by mashing every button on my screen until they registered. This was very annoying, and very easy to fix.

A few glitches:

When my friend reached 200 kills, it got him "stuck" there for like 30 kills. During this time, every time he'd kill an enemy, it would say "___ has reached 200 kills!" and award him another one of those Gold Stone item rewards. This kinda defeated the purpose of these items being rare, since we had like 20 of them sitting on the ground at all times. It might have been that certain enemies count as being killed, but don't count toward the "kill counter" that keeps track of number of enemies slain? I'm not sure.

Another major glitch that could have cost us the game was that we both died during an arena battle, but I ended up stuck in the arena. Here's the chain of events: I die, Reincarnate using my innate Paladin ability. He dies, has no ankhs. It counts the number of alive heroes in the arena, returns 0, and ends the battle (thinking we lost). I reincarnate inside the arena, stuck. Luckily I had boots of blink, and was able to blink out back to the shops area.

Another possible exploit is running down the timer on the arena battle. The World Tree heals during the arena battle, so it's actually to your advantage to get the boss low, and then stall the battle until the timer is almost run out. I'm not sure what you can really do about that except remove World Tree HP Regeneration in Arena Battles.

The most annoying bug, though, was that after we won the game, it said congrats, you won... and then never exited cinematic mode, leaving us stuck in the game forever. We had to minimize and exit the game via Task Manager. Kind of annoying, especially since this made it so I didn't get a replay to send you. :(

There were also a few misc typos lying around. "Enemies" was typed "Enemys," and various things like that, you might want to check the game for these.

Overall the map was very fun, and has a lot of potential to get better. I would suggest fixing the bugs and adding more recipe items. Right now the ability pools for each "class" seem pretty good and thorough, but it felt like I didn't have many options for recipe items.

Anyway, I'm voting for approval for this map, even with the slightly weird description. It's definitely approve-worthy.

Edit: One more bug I forgot to mention... if you do the Kel'Thuzad event, and he leaks and brings your World Tree under 0 HP, you don't lose. We had our World Tree at -300 HP for a while.

thx for your good command, i will try to fix all bugs you say. im sorry about that.

but if you stuck somewhere and cant move you can type "-unbug" after 10 seconds your hero move to the worldtree, you dont need to port.

yeah i saw it after i uploaded the map, you need to wait 6000 seconds after ending the game to close it... i fixed it next version you can send a replay to me.

I tried playing this Corrupt Treant event which end up decreasing a huge amount of the World Tree was still intended?

Also the creep waves is too slow and its not evolving, also since the map is still in Beta form, which our forum does not allow due to site rules, you can just private message me once you can finish the Complete release of the map, hence the fixing of bugs and errors of the said material.

For now, this map is rejected.

I saw this plenty of times on makemehost and also played some and I have to say, I am impressed.
Although the gameplay is simple and not really challenging, you make this game exciting because of interesting ability build and special events.
Most tank heroes seem to be pretty strong and they can easily handle creeps, if there is a healer behind them, but I would say you did a good job with this map!
I hope you keep updating and adding new stuff.

I can't choose skills with archer... very annoying. Was forced to play with someone else, other than that, cool map.
EDIT: this is weird, it seems like some heroes can choose skills from both "teachers", but some can't, I don't understand it and it isn't explained... I get "this is not the right shop, you need the Dispatcher-teacher" I think it's because the dispatcher is too close, I can't select the hero when buying skills

That is because the Warrior/Tinker/archer Trainers are near the Player Dispatcher. They get choosed as Owner and the Trainer don't have a "Change Owner" Button.

too many bugs in my opinion...

3. at the dreadlord-event, if the fire catch you once, and you die, after your ressurection, it is simply impossible to run away while the firerain is still aiming you.
4. at the acolyte event, after killing all acolytes wc3 shuts down because of an error.
5. its not balanced for the suggested players. if there are just 2 or 3 players, playing this game, u cannot finish all events (defending ghost). also, the beginning is maybe very easy but after a time, when the creeps are becoming stronger, its getting much harder. but ok, 1 note by myself: i just playes with one guy together, as shaman and agi/range. thats why it wasnt balanced for us maybe.
also another hint maybe: it would be cool to put into a game a book which let you relearn some spells because some of them arent useful anymore in the later game (maybe because some of them cannot even reach lvl 15 like the others are possible to reach it).

aside from what already listed above.....

1. Bash from warrior skills doesnt really works....
2. hero image is bugged..... either it repeats to 1st player who entered it.. or only work on red... since other player entering it.. become 1st player goes in ..

y its the same map. your right. But i ask him along time ago if i can change it. he has ended create the map in 2010 i think. the loading screen says that it is alound to change the language and other stuff.

second one:
yes i only have a quest where stand the icons and models are from hiveworkshop. i can try to find all models and icons and type all names of all players in this quest(in version 4.5). im sorry about it

Let me say that I really love this map but its so buggy! My buds and I were playing it and it seems to crash a lot along with constant desyncs. Wish there was a little more content as well. Tried like a good 20 games and found that Red can't do hero image. Sometimes, people lost their hero. Furthermore, some skills don't work.

pls say wich skills dont work and what bugs happend to you and when. I cant remove them when i dont know how they happend

And i dunno if its too long or some other sort of problem... some time archers cannot get out from hero image....
And i must say its idiotic to have a hotkey for skill as * S * or anything which overlap with basic commands

And out of sudden.... after archmage hero image.. the circle from hero image suddenly goes to the world tree field.. and hero image cannot be do anymore

Hell fire of Spector directly cause fatal error....

Extra description should be added... such as the cooldown of starting each event.. instead of showing it in term of errors... the best is showing a timer for it.. and reinforcement of warrior where u cant use it on hero image and the units and kills of them wont be counted, etc etc

note: for the hero image buggs i mentioned in Hard mode , longest time , 2 way / 1 way... i was the 3rd player who goes in it... so yeah maybe its bugged on 3rd time ..

replayed tons of time due to this prob so never saved any ... you can test that bug anytime with 3 players (not sure if its on 3rd time or 3 players )....

Hard mode, then i play over 1 hour, game will crash or not respond. Btw, i can't enter hero image after someone entered that.

Hello katho, been played this for awhile and seen some bugs.
1.Ghost event,while arena time comes(if the ghost still not dies)all hero disappears in arena
2.Survival event, some range heroes can hit bottom & gain exp
3.Mage Meteor showers 80k damge instead of around 9k per wave, 1hits arena boss.
4.theres only one item i can't find *Staff of coruption*
5.hero image, doesnt work perfectly

and again.. seriously.. a bug right away... seriously.... did u had any beta testers to run for ?

1st Hero image enter successfully but the stats was not credited ...
2nd Hero image fails to enter and the selection is doubled every time u tried to go in again

thx for the pic I will try fix it, an beta tester, u see thats a beta version? so i search for bugs in this version to fix them in the real version.

i can accept the facts its a beta map... but i cant accept the facts that the bug appeared right before i even kill any monsters..

And a few suggestion
1. Making the * dispatcher * a worker type unit so that the users can just use F8 to find it.... instead of covering the F1 hero icon position...
2. Priority the hero unit and horse instead of circle so that we wont need keep select users for shopping..

Next version I will do the hero image in a specific area so the bugs will finally fix (I hope so)
And the thing with the dispatcher, if I change it it will not work with the Holy spehers.

Hello. I played and completed this map. First of all, Hero Def style combined with Custom Spell very well. I just want to comment on a few issues:
  • First, While we defend the World Tree when the time is up you should give a 30s pause before going into battle with the boss.
  • Secondly, the Divine Shield skill at Level 1 is too strong you should reduce its duration at level 1, I think 5s and 20s cooldown is the best.
  • finally, the Spellshield Amulet item that can't be brought into the Event "Firerain" is great but you may have forgotten that the upgrade item "Medalion of Courage" is also immune to spells and it can be brought into the event.
