Thievery follows the adventures of Rahkan, a famous Satyr thief. When Rahkan stumbles across a big score, his greed may pull him down a path he could not forsee.
Thievery is a campaign focusing more on stealth than combat. Sneak around enemies, solve puzzles, fight bosses, assassinate weak enemies, and collect gold and items. You will find it is somewhat akin to Zelda games.
The campaign is difficult so you want to make sure to save your game here and there. Keep in mind that Rahkan is very weak and can die very quickly. Look before you leap.
Parts 1 through 6 complete. More coming soon!
Change Log
[9-21-09] Update: Fixed some patrol errors.
[11-20-09] Update: Some minor fixes and updates as I work on Part 5:
- Enemies that are immune to your skills will now display "Immune!" above their heads if you attempt to use the skill on them.
- Fixed a minor bug in Part 3 where you could approach Raz's shop using an unintentional path through the forest.
- Revamped the Soul Shard system to allow more inventory space.
[11-24-09] Update: Fixed a small oops I created in the last update.
[2-14-10] Update: Level 5 complete! I've decided since progress is much slower than I'd hoped, I'll just release each map as it comes out instead of in chapters. In addition to the release of level 5 (which is, in my opinion, the best one yet), I've also updated a few things:
- Opportunity will now show floating text if you get a successful combo.
- Lucky Rabbit's Foot now shows floating text when it comes into effect.
- The stun from your Stealth ability can no longer go into effect while you are still in stealth or after stealth has been broken. It now will always work on the attack breaking stealth.
Along with level 5, I've also added a button on the campaign that allows the game to search your game cache for old version saves so that you can go straight to level 5 if you've already completed levels 3 and 4.
A quick note: I've used two custom models in the map and I can't seem to find the authors' names. If you are the creator of Aura.mdx (The hero glow model) or the ItemKey model I use, please let me know so I can give you credit. Thanks!
Have fun!
[Update: 3-3-10] Added custom art and changed the titles of the books in the library puzzle in part 5 to clarify it a bit.
[Update: 3-14-10] Minor update, reduced filesize a bit and attempting to get the minimap preview to work on The Hive.
[Update: 4-4-10] Fixed a major oops I created in the last fix that caused Small Keys to be invisible!
[Update: 4-7-10] Double oops!
[Update: 6-27-10] Level 6 complete! For those of you who have already completed the previous levels, just click on "Load Progress" on the campaign screen to jump straight to level 6. Lots of custom music in this one, don't forget to turn it on! In addition to the new level, lots of small updates have been made to previous levels. Enjoy!
[Update: 6-30-10] Fixed a small bug in part 6.
[Update: 7-1-10] More bug fixes. <3 cleavinghammer!
This is a really nice campaign. For more eye candy, use custom trees instead of Blizzards boring old trees, they're ugly. Also found a bug/glitch on the second map.
When you're supposed to push the crates on the platforms, if you instead Distract a guard there and then kill him, the platform will still be pressed down. This caused trouble for me on the one where you're supposed to use the elevator.
Instead of pushing the box I distracted the guard on the platform. I wasn't fast enough to get on the elevator so I tried to kill him, but the elevator wouldn't go down so I was pretty much stuck.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I'll update this when I can. For now be sure to save here and there in case stuff like this happens.
Edit: Let me clarify, with the elevator, you're supposed to use him to press the footswitch down. Push the crate onto the elevator, distract him onto the footswitch, and then push the crate up to the second footswitch. To get down, distract him off of the footswitch. Do not kill the guard or you will be stuck as you stated. I will have to make it so he's error-proof.
Yeah, as I stated earlier and as TheDanish also said; the terrain isn't bad, but there's alot of room for improvements. Since it's a Campaign after all, I'd say go nuts with the environment as long as you don't go apeshit over it.
EDIT: Well i didn't get further than the first map, because when a patrolling guardsman attacked and killed me, after that he stopped moving so i can't continue. You might want to fix that. I got through it with 5 hp, but it's pretty annoying.
I'm right now at the Temple map, and i love it. You have done a great job with the maps, i hope it will be finished soon.
The terrain is pretty good but like the others said, you can improve it.
Though it isn't completed, i shall still rate it 4/5 and vote for Approval.

Heh, this maps good, although I am pretty irked right now. I played through the first level fine until the point at the fountain behind the chapel near the wall entrance. I went to the space above the fountain with the tavern and assassinated the guy. No problem. I broke the crates and left but got killed. No problem, I still have four lives. I got killed again, but the guy stopped patrolling. He was parked right in front of the respawn point. After that, I got angry and decided to try again tomorrow.
That is a major bug, to me at least. it means if you are like me, you'll die 2 times and get stuck.
I haven't rated yet because i got stuck there, so either I'll make it next time I play or I'll wait until you fix it.

See ya!

Alright, thanks to everyone who tried it and reported errors! The watchman stopping his patrol should be fixed now. The file is updated so be sure to get the new one!
You can go through trees from east side in third mission to Gaz, which makes cinematics not to happen, since you need to go from south.
@Grendel
If you have bugs like this, then like you did, report it and then use cheats to get pass them. For that guard just use "whosyourdaddy" thing, kill him, disable cheat and play again.
Awesome campaign. The first and second level are fun, but the fourth level I'm not sure, because I'm stuck at the third level, hehehe. Either way, had fun playing the campaign. I'd rate 4/5. -1 because it still can be improved and there are a few bugs which could be fixed.

Where are you stuck? Maybe I can help! :)
And thanks for reporting the tree bug. I'll get that in the next update.
Never mind, I won the whole campaign already. Got stuck a few times, but I can't remember exactly where I got stuck. Either way, still a great campaign. Hope you make more. =]
