This is Survival RPG, my first map that I started almost 3 years ago, this update is from a week ago (Dec 8) and it adds 1.24 compatibility and a few Survival Mode additions.

A quick description:


Team-based open RPG game play in a post apocalyptic zombie infested world.

The majority of the game is story driven, with cinematics that then revolve around mini-games thereafter.

This is "beta" but from what the thread of do's and don'ts I suppose you can consider it alpha.

This map has save/load.

Expect updates daily, every other day, or every every other day.

Here's the changelog:


Added Chapter Three.
Disabled The Undead from gaining xp.
Massive Overhaul on the game interface.
Re-angled Swat cutscene.
Shortened Artifact's Cutscene.
Re-did Fix Command.
Re-did default Command.
Removed A non-needed trigger.
Added Fail-safe to remove creeps from SWAT Chapter
Removed A Minor Glitch In PVP concerning Article-15
Fixed a typo in anti-team attack.
Added A Special Region To Enter PVP.
Removed -pvp command.
Readded Tear Gas to the list, an ability bug was causing it to disappear.
Changed Artifact Quest, Almedia now gives you the item instead of it spawning.
Added inventory items to Almedia and Godsend.
Added new terrain for chapter 4 [unused]
Added new terrain for chapter 5 [unused]
Loot trigger now changed, removed other items, makes it nicer.
Added Good Chuck Norris
Added Bad Chuck Norris
Chuck Norrises wander around the map.
Now the classes have 1 of 30 names, 28 are random, 1 is Shadow_Bh the other is to distinguish them in the world editor.
All Bosses Now Have x6 Spell Immunity.
Weakend Massacre slightly.
Buffed Eradication majorly.
Class A-23 Project 6 [Failed] boss added. The failed isn't a typo.
Class A-24 Project 5 [Failed] boss added.
Overhauled "unused" terrain, its all flat now.
"General rank" was using the insignia of Colonel. On closer inspection, Colonel should have been in its place. Its now fixed.
There are now a few rank-only areas [level requirements.]
Prone tooltip Fixed
Tactics tooltip fixed.
Tactics is now 15 levels, up from 10 and 2% each level, down from 3%.
Take Aim tooltip fixed.
Take aim is now 15 levels, up from 10 and 2% each level, down from 3%.
Explosive Shrapnel tooltip fixed.
Stealth speed tooltip fixed.
Reduced Weapon sounds to 50%.
Many Many more tweaks and bug fixes.
Added every award/medal to the loot system. This means the AOS now gives medals to everyone.
Increased Marine's range of sight to 1800.
Added more infantry turrets to the undead barracks.
Fixed PVP.

Fixed the strength and intelligence tomes to correctly give you the stats.

Major Gameplay Changes:
Re-worked every creeps level, defense base, and bounty amount.
Re-worked every head quest and artifact quest. They now give a set amount of xp, and everyone gets the exp bonus.
Made hero selection system by tavern now.
Made armor restrictions, you can only carry one type now.
Experience is now a bit slower the higher your level.
Code change due to maxing available heroes, changing of head quests, slowing experience rate, and a bug in the item system.
Red now has the option to start or skip the intro.

Minor Gameplay Changes:
Map title is no longer black.
Enlisting sets your XP rate to 100% now.
Godsend's Artifact Is instantly teleported to your feet now.
Player versus player now gives a cool message when a unit dies.
Moved 2nt LT region a bit closer to the necromancers.
Policeman, the summon, now has 1,000 more hitpoints and no longer has Tactics as a skill
Changed color coding of save/load system.
Added information on which color is what type of letter in save system.
Recipes now say "You do not need to buy this item"
Flare is now 0 mana.
Flare is now a 30 second cooldown.
Auto-firing lazer is now 5 damage, up from 1.
Added information telling players their codes are case sensitive and that spaces don't matter.
Made a -repick command that tells you to type -enlist.
Made every hero
Deleted a few unneeded variables.
Re-worked Nano-bots on the commander.
Changed Force Names.

Minor Bug Fixes:
Assualt Rifler now can get any of 30 names, up from 6.
Tooltip fix on Minigunner's armor buff.
Adrenaline did 4 damage per second to the hero, now it does 0.

Major Bug Fixes:
Reworked and Fixed every head quests that gave XP.


Major Gameplay Changes:
Colored Hero Names
Code reset due to bugged quests in .71
Infinte Saves, slots 4, 5, 6, become undroppable. You must destroy them.
When you type 2 or more words, it displays above your heroes name.
Smoke screen is now castable, and no longer channeled.
You can now type -location to find your X and Y coordinates.
Re-worked AoS's towers, now its VERY hard to lose the AoS.
Made the AoS harder to compensate.
Made storage empty out when you -enlist.
You now need to be a seargeant to enter the AoS and the PVP.

Minor Gameplay Changes:
Smoke Screen is now a summon and gives -70% Movespeed
Commander's level 10 skill has been nerfed to +10 armor.
Minigunner's level 20 skill has been nerfed to +15 armor
Pyro's level 20 skill has been nerfed to +15 armor.
Foster rounds now do 750 damage, up from 500.
Foster rounds' AoE is now 300 instead of 125.
Added information on the -d command, and to always save twice.
Removed the extra difficulty quests. Consolidated the difficulties into one quest.
Made the towers and rifleman "walls" for the SWAT quest - prevents people from going off and dieing in the first 20 seconds.
Removed PVP message, only worked for normal units.
Made "only for X modification" on every recipe item.
Every rank requirement place now displays the level which is required, which is the level the rank is aquired.
Fear Aura's buff was changed to reflect the new smoke screen.
Gun noises are now at 65%, up from 50%.
Good chuck and bad chuck now no longer attack buildings.
Adrenaline rush now costs 0 mana, and increases attack speed by 100%, up fom 25%, and lasts 20 seconds, up from 5.\
Terrain re-work on the corrupted infantry area.

i love your map :) and its great that u goes on that fast with bug fixes and such stuff... maybe u will add some more quests soon

i just want to mention 1 thing i dont know if u have fixed it yet... but i was lvl 20 and i got the head from the first unit (the ghoul) and i brought it back( all other teamates were lvl 1) and then i get up to lvl 21 and all teamates from lvl 1 to 21.. u should fix that.. cause if some1 has lvl 0 and u join with lvl 1 u get fast that lvl... so it doesnt make sense to play normal when u get the lvl just in a few seconds... try to fix it! i dont know if its just on the first head or in all... im testing your map (the new version) u have fixed something with the head quest but i dont know if its this bug.. anyway u know it now.. try to make the best of it ^^ :) anyway cool maP!!

Yes I fixed that bug with the release of .72. Thanks for liking my map, be sure to tell people to try it out :)

Anyways, heres .72a's changelog:

Major Bug Fixes:
Fixed a rare bug that caused you to win and then lose the SWAT mission.
Fixed Pyro's level 50 skill not appearing
FIxed AoS and PVPs requirements.
Massive powerleveling in the PVP has been fixed.


Major Gameplay Changes:
Code change due to another major bug.


Minor Gameplay Changes:
Second Spout now does 75 damage per second.

hmm fine i forgot to mention that with the aos and the pvp cause i entered them with lvl 8 and i needed lvl 16 for it ^^

anyway why dont u add an ammo system? so that u shoot and have to by new ammuniation??

i wanted to make such an rpg map but i havent that time so i will tell u sometimes some things i would add in my own rpg or it makes this map better... hope u can need it :)

Yo Shadow_BH your map rules but maybe i found some bugs in .74 first when i use with "Minigunner" the spell "Improved Machine Gun Rounds" he has no Critical Damage yo and "Fragmentation Grenade" is to weak and why can I wear 2 Sniper's Helmet?
And one more question where can I find the item "Broken Chain Gun" for Engineering??? And do Gloves stack??? Like when you wear to items that increase 70% atk spd do they stack together??? Or can u only use one item that increase your attack speed and all other not stack??
And what's up with the Difficulty ingame. do the mobs drop more gold when its difficult or does the boss have better drop chance! <.< i think on easy its always best way to play coz u not need stronger mobs when they have same gold drop like at hard

yo and add ammo is a nice idea from Tr!KzZ would be cool, then we need new skill with Knife or something if no money and no ammo *g* ^^
and man when u host a game and load then and just save and load next game then u get new "game played" >.< thing and this sucks ... so u can get all dog tags very fast add only after 1 hour that u get +1 Game Played or something! or after chapter 5 ...

also the well at start make it more middle coz u can heal through wall at start this sucks, and whats up with the avater at chapter 5 i hate to wait every game 7 mins and do nothing <.< man add that when avater dies the mission is complete ...

What do you mean hidden codes?

As for .77's Changelog it's:

-Survival Mode: Doubled spawn time on Undead Brutes from 2 seconds to 4 seconds
-Survival Mode: Removed all neutral hostile units from the game when survival mode is picked.
-Survival Mode: Removed all units in the AoS from the game when survival mode is picked.
-Survival Mode: Modified Terrain pathing for Survival Mode.
-Survival Mode: Creep Tip message disables when survival mode is picked.
-Survival Mode: Save Tip message disables when survivial mode is picked.
-Survival Mode: Removed Shadow_Templar
-Survival Mode: Modified Terrain and defenses
-Survival Mode: The area is now passively visible to all players.

-Modified Loading Screen Data
